René Enríquez was born on November 24, 1933 in Granada, Nicaragua. He was an actor, known for Bananas (1971), Hill Street Blues (1981) and Dream West (1986). He died on March 23, 1990 in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Attended San Francisco College and San Francisco State University. Served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Member of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York from 1958.
He was the nephew of General Emiliano Chamorro, one-time president of Nicaragua.
Alumnus of the AADA (American Academy of Dramatic Arts), Class of 1960.
