John Eldredge was born on August 30, 1904 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was an actor, known for High Sierra (1941), Dark Alibi (1946) and The Master Key (1945). He died on September 23, 1961 in Laguna Beach, California.

Often incorrectly billed as John Eldridge; not to be confused with British director John Eldridge (1917-1960).
Younger brother of actor George Eldredge
The son of a clergyman, Eldredge began his acting career with stock companies and in vaudeville, before moving on to Broadway. Under contract with Warner Brothers as a general purpose actor from 1934, he often appeared in ineffectual roles or as minor villains. From the early 1950's, he also had a busy career in television.
