Andre Dubus was born on August 11, 1936 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, USA. He was a writer, known for In the Bedroom (2001), We Don't Live Here Anymore (2004) and A Year in the Life (1987). He was married to Patricia and Peggy Rambach. He died on February 24, 1999 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA.
