You may know her as Alice Grant on "General Hospital." Ms. Dressler has a vast number of film, television and stage credits and has also appeared in numerous television commercials. She started performing in nightclubs, moved to the West Coast where she studied in drama workshops for two years and then opened her own workshop in 1969, The Sweatshop at The Patio Playhouse, which became "The Gym". With the assistance of the Playhouse actors, she developed techniques and practiced theories now referred to as The Mechanics of Believability.
