Charles Dierkop was born on September 11, 1936 in La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA as Charles Richard Dierkop. He is an actor, known for The Sting (1973), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984). He was previously married to Joan F. Addis.

Lifetime member of the world renowned Actor's Studio.
He has a cameo in the music video of Man on the Moon (1999) by R.E.M..
As of 2017, he has appeared in three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: The Hustler (1961), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and The Sting (1973). Of those, the latter is a winner in the category and Paul Newman appeared in all of three mentioned films.
He and his Police Woman co-star Earl Holliman both observe their birthdays on the same day (Holliman was born in 1928).
