New Iron Fist Season 2 Promo Sees Davos Unleash His Powers

Though Iron Fist season 2 looks to be much different in terms of style and quality, it’ll still pick up some plot threads from the disappointing debut season of the Marvel/Netflix show. Chief among them’s the growing rivalry between Finn Jones’ Danny Rand and his former K’un-Lun resident and old bestie, Davos (as played by Sacha Dhawan).

As established in season 1, Davos and Danny were both up for the job of being appointed the immortal Iron Fist, the protector of their mystical home world granted the mighty power of possessing a glowing hand that lets them punch through just about anything. Obviously, Davos lost out and traveled to New York to challenge Danny, believing he wasn’t worthy of being the Iron Fist.

In season 2, we expect Davos to have turned to the dark side in order to get what he wants. And this new promo up

Iron Fist Star Finn Jones Says The Actors Performed Most of The Fight Sequences in Season 2

One of the biggest weaknesses regarding the way Marvel is handling Iron Fist is the fight sequences. Iron Fist is supposed to be a badass martial artist, so the fight sequences should have been a highlight of the show! But I have yet to see a fight scene involving the character that wows me. Everything I've seen up to this point has been pretty mediocre and it shouldn't be mediocre!

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, actor Finn Jones talked about the fight sequences in Iron First Season 2 and says that the majority of the fights were performed with minimal use of stunt doubles. So the actors did most of the fight work:

"The majority of fights this season, if not all of them, are performed by all of the actors in the show this season and the doubles were used pretty minimally. It was awesome, I had such a great

What starts off as a strange, ribbon-based form of dance fighting quickly devolves into a brutal bloodbath. "It's in the past," Colleen tells Danny. "I hope so," he responds, in …

Iron Fist Season 2 Photos Tease Familiar Heroes And New Villains

Against all the odds, Marvel fans are actually excited for Iron Fist season 2. Thanks to a soft reboot of the character in Luke Cage‘s second season, the hype for the sophomore run of the muddled Netflix series has risen and what we’ve learned about it at San Diego Comic-Con has only added to that. The trailer promised a much sturdier, streetwise affair that hopefully won’t repeat the mistakes of season 1.

Following on from the show’s Sdcc panel, some intriguing new stills from the upcoming season have now surfaced online (via DNAIndia), which tease the return of multiple familiar characters as well as the addition of a new villain.

As you can see below, two of the pics feature Danny Rand (Finn Jones) doing what he does best: taking to the streets of New York to fight crime and stop the bad guys. One, in particular, actually

First Look At The Yellow Mask In Iron Fist Season 2 Leaks

Iron Fist season 2 has a lot of work to do in making up for the disappointment of season 1. Thankfully, though, it looks like it might just manage it. Following on from his awesome guest spot in Luke Cage season 2, the character of Danny Rand appears to be fixed and yesterday’s Comic-Con panel on the Marvel/Netflix show revealed who Alice Eve would be playing: comic book villain Typhoid Mary.

As well as a stronger personality for the lead character and an awesome new antagonist, something else fans want to see in season 2 is Iron Fist’s classic yellow and green costume, which Danny never donned in season 1. We’ve heard that it’s definitely on the way in some form though as a clip from the new run which featured the iconic mask was shown at the Sdcc panel. Though the scene has yet to be released online, a

Looks Like Danny Will Be Sporting The Classic Yellow Mask For Iron Fist Season 2

Just as Aquaman is about to place Arthur Curry in his famous green-and-orange ensemble, it’s looking increasingly likely that Danny Rand is on the verge of donning his own classic costume.

From what we understand, footage for Iron Fist season 2 shown at Comic-Con included a shot of Finn Jones’ street-level hero replete with that signature mask. Our Defender was seen fighting alongside Davos (Sacha Dhawan), too, as they began their preparations for the ultimate test: a fight against Shou-Lao the Undying.

Mind you, it wasn’t a full costume reveal, and Marvel and Netflix seem pretty intent on letting things develop organically before Danny Rand is in the right mind frame to suit up as New York’s latest hero – presumably in place of Daredevil, who’s still on bedrest until further notice.

‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 Sdcc Teaser: Wait A Minute, Is Season 2 Actually Going To Be Good?

Look, it’s no secret that “Iron Fist” season 1 was garbage. Outside of some inspired casting, particularly Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing and Sacha Dhawan as Davos (aka Steel Serpent), it was hard to find any bright spots in the overlong, badly choreographed, martial arts superhero show. But hey, people watched it and Netflix is bringing it back for season 2 and we have the first look.

Here’s Everything We Saw From Netflix’s ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 at Marvel’s Comic-Con Panel

  • The Wrap
Marvel’s “Iron Fist” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Thursday dropped all kinds of new information on fans, not the least of which was when to expect new episodes of the show — Sept. 7 by the way.

The panel showed off several clips of the new season too. First and foremost, it’ll have improved fight scenes: “Iron Fist” picked up Clayton Barber, the fight coordinator from “Black Panther,” to take control of the show’s stunts, and it showed in the footage we saw up in Ballroom 20.

The panel really kicked off when they revealed the season 2 launch date via this teaser that the show tweeted out later on.

‘Iron Fist’ Gets Season 2 September Launch Date On Netflix – Comic-Con
Having had its ass critically kicked for Season 1 in a way that Marvel rarely experiences, Iron Fist came into Comic-Con swinging today. Along with a gritty teaser and some heavy duty punk rock fueled fight scenes for the series, the biggest Season 2 punch of all was the announcement that the Finn Jones led series will be back for its second season on September 7.

Starting off with a green neon countdown clock like one seen online earlier this week (see above) and a self described “hype piece” video that showed the Finn Jones played martial arts master plus Defenders‘ Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil as well as the Punisher. That was followed by the perhaps even greater spectacle of Marvel TV boss Jeph Loeb coming out in full martial garb and boasting about how he has been trained by Karate Kid’s Mr.

Comic-Con 2018: Marvel Reveals When ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2 Will Punch Back Onto Netflix (Video)
Thanks to the “Iron Fist” panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 on Thursday, we now know when we’ll see the Immortal Iron Fist’s glowing magic punches returning to Netflix: Sept. 7

In addition to the return date for Marvel’s fourth Netflix show (and the final member of its four-character team from its show “The Defenders”), fans also received a few hints at what the next season has in store for Danny Rand (Finn Jones), a.k.a. Iron Fist, as well as Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) and Misty Knight (Simone Missick).

Iron Fist” Season 2 is picking up the story from last year’s season, but Danny has gone through a lot since that story. He most recently popped up in the second season of “Luke Cage,” where he helped Luke (Mike Colter) with his battles in Harlem, and hinted at the two teaming up to create Heroes for Hire,

London Theater Review: ‘Allelujah!’ by Alan Bennett

  • Variety
London Theater Review: ‘Allelujah!’ by Alan Bennett
Fifty years after his play “Forty Years On,” Alan Bennett is still pining for the England of old. Just as his first play lamented the slipping standards of an old public school and, by extension, the nation at large, so “Allelujah!” sees an ailing National Health Service hospital as symptomatic of a wider national malaise. The show, now playing at Nicholas Hytner’s Bridge Theatre, is full of all the playwright’s signature elements — warmth, wry humor, faith in humankind — but at some point, you have to ask whether his idyllic, old England ever really existed. His nostalgia’s seductive, but mighty sentimental — and maybe, in this misty-eyed political climate, dangerous too.

Set in the geriatric wing of a Yorkshire hospital at full stretch, its future hanging in the balance, “Allelujah!” throws up a collage of characters and a criss-cross of subplots. Among the patients, singing in the hospital’s in-house Oap choir,
