Won the 1984 Logie Award in the NSW Most Popular Female category for her role as Shirley Dean Gilroy in A Country Practice (1981).

She was awarded the AM (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 2021 Queen's Honours List for her significant service to the performing arts as an actress, singer and entertainer.
