After gaining an arts degree in Graphics/Film-making in Graham Day
joined the BBC at Ealing Studios in 1980. He spent 6 years there
working in the camera department on a wide variety of productions that
include: 'Smiley's People', 'Hotel Du Lac', and 'Past Caring'. In 1986
he decided to go freelance and worked as a focus puller and operator on
feature films, commercials and music videos until 1988 when he became a
Cameraman/Director of Photography/Cinematographer. Graham continued
to work on music video's and corporate productions but then moved back
to documentaries, shooting for terrestrial broadcast companies including
the BBC, Channel, ITV and Nat Geo. Some of the productions have won
various awards including; RTS, Bafta and an Emmy for 'The English Surgeon'.
Graham Day is now retired from the film & TV business.
