Hellboy Looks Determined in This New Poster For the Upcoming Reboot

We’ve got a new poster from the upcoming Hellboy reboot to share with you today featuring David Harbour in the title role and he’s looking confident and determined. I also included another poster that is based on a previously released motion poster.

Ever since the first trailer for this film was released, the excitement has died down. It’s kind of a shame. They should have released a better trailer, though, that was more in line with what we were being told the movie would be.

I’ve actually heard some interesting things regarding the production of the film that doesn’t spark much confidence. I don’t want to share any of that information yet, though, until I get confirmation from a second source, which I’m waiting on.

Regardless, I'm still going to see the movie in hopes that it surpasses my expectations.

Darkness Calls the Devil in 2 Stunning New Hellboy Posters

Darkness Calls the Devil in 2 Stunning New Hellboy Posters
We have some new posters for the upcoming Hellboy reboot. One of the posters is brand new, while the other is a still version of a previously released motion poster. In both cases, they're keeping up with the theme of the marketing so far, which is lots of brooding looks, ominous phrases, plenty of red and fire. Lots and lots of fire.

The new poster features our new Hellboy, as portrayed by Stranger Things star David Harbour, looking like he's standing in the middle of a volcano and just not caring about it. In this particular image, Big Red is still sporting his glorious horns. As we've seen between the trailers and some still images, he's going to have his horns for a portion of the movie, then he won't have them. But he does look particularly menacing with the horns, and the tagline on this poster actually hints that

Two New Hellboy Posters Summon Humanity’s Unlikely Saviour

Big Red is beginning to rear those iconic horns over the horizon, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The infamous demon, played on this occasion by David Harbour of Stranger Things, will soon headline Lionsgate’s Hellboy movie, the twice-delayed reboot that pits everyone’s favorite anti-hero against a hellish queen not of this world.

We are, of course, referring to Nimue (Milla Jovovich), who seeks to destroy humanity and bring ruin to planet Earth. Exactly how she plans to do so is another question entirely, but considering today’s fresh pair of Hellboy posters, we’d wager that Jovovich’s blood queen is up against it. The first one is more of a close-up than anything else, and while the proportions are all out of whack, take nothing away from David Harbour’s ungodly scowl. Let’s just say we’d hate to be on the other end of that flaming blade.

The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 11 Review: Quarantine Part Two

That was one hell of an outbreak.

The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 11 resolved the cliffhangers we were left with after The Good Doctor Season 2 Episode 10, and it fell a bit short of expectations.

The Good Doctor prides itself in hitting viewers right in the feels, but there was something about "Quarantine Part Two" that felt not only rushed but also somewhat convoluted.

It was evident the outbreak was going to be resolved because it wouldn't have worked to have this storyline stretched over a longer arc, but the powers that be took the convenient way out.

I appreciate that locking parts of the hospital down was a ballsy move. It was needed to contain the virus from the rest of the hospital.

Two New Photos From Hellboy and David Harbour Explains How This Will Be a More Brutal Take on the Character

The first trailer released for Hellboy felt more like a light-hearted action comedy than it did a hardcore gritty horror film, which is how this film has been described by the cast and crew over the past few months.

It’s certainly not the trailer or vibe I was expecting. But in a recent interview with Empire, David Harbour once again explained how this film will be a grittier, more brutal take on the character, saying:

“There’s really a sense that you’re actually killing things, even if they are giants or monsters. You’re chopping their heads off, you’re bathing in their blood and you’re feeling the complex feelings of actually cutting the heart out of another thing. We’re taking the time to deal with the fact that Hellboy is a killer. He’s a weapon.”

Well, why didn’t they tease any of that in the trailer!
