Toto Cutugno was born on July 7, 1943 in Fosdinovo, Tuscany, Italy as Salvatore Cutugno. He is known for his work on The Late Bloomer (2016), Miss Violence (2013) and Mann - Soul's Heart (1999). He has been married to Carla since 1971. They have one child.

Italian singer.
His most successful songs include "Solo noi" (1980, lit. for "Only Us"), "L'Italiano" (1983, "The Italian"), "Serenata" (1984, "Serenade"), "Insieme: 1992" (1990, "Together: 1992") and "Gli amori" together with Ray Charles (1990, "Good Love Gone Bad" in the English version).
His father was an officer of Italy's navy, his mother a housewife.
Wrote songs for Joe Dassin and Dalida.
Winner of Eurovision Song Contest '90: Zagreb/YU (1990) with his song "Insieme: 1992".
Started his musical career as a drummer.
Participating 13 times at Festival di Sanremo (1951), he has won in 1980 with "Solo noi" (lit. for "Only us") and finished second in sixth editions.
One son, Nico (b. 1989 ca).
Supports AC Milan.
