The current season of “The Big Bang Theory” wraps up Thursday with a finale featuring the wedding of Amy (Mayim Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons), and as the nerdy union prepared to unfold, cast members of the CBS sitcom took to social media to share advance glimpses of the episode.

Despite preparing to get hitched, Parsons seemed calm, cool and collected as he offered fans a picture of himself in a tux and Bialik in a wedding gown, bouquet in hand.

“Tonight, we do this,” Parsons captioned the image.

How Kaley Cuoco Found Happiness Again After a Shocking Heartbreak
Not too long ago, a microsecond in evolutionary terms, Kaley Cuoco's universe was in a hot, dense state. Her dream of happily ever after with tennis player Ryan Sweeting had been crushed after just 21 months of marriage, and the Big Bang Theory star had to not just decide what she was going to do with the wedding date tattooed on her back in honor of her nuptials—but she also had to just start over, ready or not. "Last year was very bizarre," Cuoco said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February 2016, five months after filing for divorce. "We all go through really weird ups and downs. And sometimes I'm a little bit more seen," but "everyone goes through that stuff, you...

See How the 'Big Bang Theory' Paid Tribute to Stephen Hawking

CBS' The Big Bang Theory paid tribute to the late Stephen Hawking during Thursday's season 11 finale in a scene that ultimately had to be cut for time. However, the network on Friday released the touching scene originally designed to be the end tag for the season.

In the clip, a post-wedding Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and his new wife Amy (Mayim Bialik) receive a gift that was mistakenly delivered to Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) apartment.

As it turns out, Hawking — who guest-starred in multiple episodes of the nerdy comedy from Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steve Molaro —...

Kaley Cuoco Gushes Over Her 'Big Bang Theory' Cast in a Lost Interview (Exclusive)

Just to give this a bit of perspective, The Big Bang Theory — the hit sitcom that celebrates all things nerdy and has proven that the geek shall inherit the Earth (if they haven't already) — is currently 254 episodes into what is so far an 11 season run. But at the time that Kaley Cuoco, Penny herself, sat down with me to talk about the show, only eight episodes had aired. Despite that, the series had already begun connecting with the audience, and made stars of Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper), Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz), Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali), and, of course, Kaley (who had already scored TV hits with 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter and Charmed). CBS Beats Q1 Earnings Forecasts on Record Revenue

CBS beat its earnings forecast for the first quarter of 2018, posting an adjusted diluted earnings per share (Eps) of $1.34 and a record $3.76 billion in revenue.

The $3.76 billion in revenue was a record for a first-quarter, and CBS also hit an all-time quarterly high in adjusted operating income and adjusted diluted Eps. Wall Street had forecast Q1 earnings of $1.19 Eps and $3.64 billion in revenue, per a Yahoo Finance compilation of media analysts.

CBS shares were trading up nearly two percent in after market trading to $49.65 per share.

“CBS’phenomenal first-quarter results once again affirm that we have the right strategy to successfully monetize our premium content now and in the future,” said Leslie Moonves, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation. “We achieved these record results thanks to the many ways we are delivering our must-have content, including our direct-to-consumer services — CBS All Access and Showtime Ott — which continue to grow rapidly and are now contributing meaningful dollars to our bottom line while attracting younger viewers.”

CBS saw gains for its affiliate, advertising and content licensing revenues.

Affiliate and subscription revenues rose 16 percent, led by a 25 percent increase in retransmission fees and growth among CBS’ streaming subscription services such as CBS All Access.

Advertising revenues were up eight percent, which include CBS’ acquisition of Australia’s Network Ten last year. Meanwhile, content licensing and distribution revenues were up 18 percent, benefiting from growth from the international licensing of new series as well as the start of renewal periods for licenses of library programming.

Combining CBS Television Network, CBS Television Studios, CBS Studios International, CBS Television Distribution, Network Ten, CBS Interactive, and CBS Films, the company’s entertainment revenue increased 16 percent from the same time last year.

On the cable end — Showtime Networks, CBS Sports Network, and Smithsonian Networks — revenue increased 12 percent.

“We are just beginning to reap the benefits from our position as an industry leader in delivering content over-the-top while others are just entering this business. Beyond direct-to-consumer, our Company-wide growth in paying subscribers is an extremely important and unique part of our success,” Moonves continued. “Specifically, when you combine our CBS and Showtime subs across traditional MVPDs, virtual MVPDs (aka “skinny bundles”), and direct-to-consumer services, CBS Corporation’s subscribers are not only growing, but the growth is also accelerating. And the average rate per sub is increasing strongly as well. Looking ahead, we are confident that the demand for our programming will only increase when we unveil our new primetime lineup for the CBS Television Network later this month. In addition, we have a very successful slate of new and returning series at Showtime that continues to drive its rates and subscribers, and we have the midterm elections this fall.”

He concluded, “All of this is leading to another record year for the CBS Corporation in 2018, and with today’s terrific results, we are even more confident in the very strong full-year growth outlook that we laid out three months ago.”

During their conference call to discuss the quarterly results, CBS executives would not discuss any potential merger with Viacom.

Exiting ‘NCIS’ Star Pauley Perrette Is the Most-Liked Female Star on Primetime TV (Exclusive)
Pauley Perrette may be leaving “NCIS” next Tuesday, May 8, after 15 years on the show, but the woman who has played goth forensic scientist Abby Sciuto since 2003 won’t be leaving America’s hearts anytime soon.

The actress’ departure deals a particularly tough blow to CBS when one considers that Perrette is the most-liked female primetime star on TV, according to the Q Scores Company.

The 49-year-old star also happens to be at the height of her popularity, with a whopping 44 percent of people surveyed identifying Perrette as among their favorite celebrities, TheWrap has learned.

The average Q Score for a female star on primetime TV is 21. So not only is Perrette beloved by more than twice the percentage of Americans who identify her average contemporary as being among their faves, she blows away the closest female competitor.

Number 2 is Taraji P. Henson of Fox’s “Empire,” who has a killer 36 score — but that’s 8 points behind Perrette’s high-water mark.

Here are the eight women who line up behind Perrette and Henson, all of whom rate well above average in Positive Q Scores:

5. Viola Davis, “How to Get Away With Murder”: 32

6. (tie) A.J. Cook, “Criminal Minds”: 31

8. (tie) Paget Brewster, “Criminal Minds”: 29

8. (tie) Linda Hunt, “NCIS: Los Angeles”: 29

10. Kaley Cuoco, “The Bang Theory”: 27

Perrette’s Positive Q Score, a measure of how well liked she is among a cross-section of U.S. demographics, has grown from 42 percent in winter 2014 to 44 percent in winter 2018.

‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Mayim Bialik Says She’s ‘Mopey’ About Amy’s Wedding Dress Episode (Video)
Sounds like Mayim Bialik has a case of wedding bell blues. Or at least wedding dress blues.

The Big Bang Theory” star Bialik, who plays Amy on the CBS sitcom, took to the internet on Friday to inform fans that she’s “mopey” about trying on wedding dresses for the upcoming season finale of the series, which will feature her wedding to beau Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

Bialik explained her mopiness in elaborate style.

“It’s no surprise that the Shamy wedding happens in May. Let’s talk about May, shall we? May — it’s the month of weddings. It’s the month of spring. The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping. All is good on God’s green earth,” Bialik begins.

“In such a perfect month, with such a monumental episode on the horizon, why do I feel mopey?” the actress continued.

“Let’s play multiple choice. Is Mayim mopey a) because of Trump, b) because I always prefer winter over spring, or c) because trying on wedding dresses as Amy meant that real-life Mayim had to try on traditional wedding dresses, and that’s hard for me?” Bialik added.

Also Read: Jim Parsons Takes a Good, Hard Look at Himself in 'Big Bang Theory' Behind-the-Scenes Look (Photo)

“Well, always a), sometimes b), and yeah — a lot of c),” she went on to explain.

Bialik added that Thursday’s episode, in which her character had to pick out a wedding dress, “brought up a lot of things that I personally am not comfortable with.”

“Those things are, Number 1, traditional wedding dresses. Number 2, trying on traditional wedding dresses. Number 3, being a divorced woman trying on traditional wedding dresses. I think you get the idea.”

Of course, she wasn’t done there.

Bialik announced in November 2012 that she was divorcing her husband of nine years, Mike Stone. The actress tweeted, “I’m beating the tabloids to it and posting this Divorce Statement.”

CBS announced Monday that Hamill would be among the guests featured on the Season 11 finale of “The Big Bang Theory,” which will feature the wedding of Amy (Bialik) and Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

The “Big Bang Theory” wedding episode will air May 10 at 8 p.m., with guest-stars including “Star Wars” icon Mark Hamill, Kathy Bates, magician Teller and Jerry O’Connell, among others.

In the meantime, watch Bialik say blech to the dress below.

Roseanne Barr Q Score: Here’s How Much America Likes (or Doesn’t Like) Sitcom Star (Exclusive)

Roseanne Barr Q Score: Here’s How Much America Likes (or Doesn’t Like) Sitcom Star (Exclusive)
America really likes “Roseanne,” but do we like Roseanne? TheWrap looked into Roseanne Barr’s Q Score — a measurement of one’s likability — to find exactly that out.

The comedian, actress and awful national anthem singer has a 70 Familiarity score, which means she was recognized during a recent market research study by 70 percent of those surveyed. That’s actually far-larger than it probably sounds: Consider Mariska Hargitay, who is better-known than most of her peers, has just a 42 Familiarity score. The popular Kaley Cuoco is between the two with a 53.

So, yes, our ABC sitcom star is extremely well-known — but is Barr well-liked? No, not particularly.

Also Read: 'Roseanne' Passes 'Sunday Night Football' and 'This Is Us' to Become TV's Top-Rated Show

With a 14 Positive Q Score, Barr is not what one would call a beloved personality. That number is not terrible, however — it places Roseanne five points below the average for a female primetime star.

(Back to our above example, the popular Hargitay and Cuoco have a 34 and 27, respectively for their Positive Q Scores. But again, they’re extremely well-liked — click here to see how more primetime actresses rated by both metrics.)

Barr’s Negative Q Score is a 36 — that one is pretty awful, to be honest. Compare it with the average for a female primetime star, which is a 21.

“Her numbers reflect the ‘stir the pot’ appeal that she has with viewers,” Q Scores Company president Henry Schafer told TheWrap. “That’s how the character and the real Roseanne are marketed.”

Also Read: 'Roseanne' Revival Got Big Influx of Fox News Viewers in Second Week

But just how does one gather a Q Score — a number that is commonly used to aid casting and endorsement decisions — anyway?

Well, for this one, Schafer and his team spent the early part of 2018 polling a few thousand Americans age 6 and older. Any of those who marked Barr among their favorite celebrities went in the Positive column, those who said she was one of their least favorite personalities were counted in the Negative tally. The Q Score itself is essentially just a percentage of those surveyed who said “Yes” to either extreme.

Unfortunately, one group was two-and-a-half times larger than the other — not that ABC is too concerned about it.

Jim Parsons Takes a Good, Hard Look at Himself in ‘Big Bang Theory’ Behind-the-Scenes Look (Photo)
We feel you, Jim Parsons; everyone has a little trouble facing up to themselves from time to time.

The Big Bang Theory” star Johnny Galecki offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the hit CBS sitcom on Thursday, posting a photo of himself and costar Jim Parsons preparing for an episode.

In the shot, Galecki is seen sitting cross-legged on the floor, a pensive look on his face as he rests his cheek on his fist.

Parsons also has a look on his face — or rather, both of his faces.

In Galecki’s behind-the-scenes glimpse, Parsons comes face-to-face with a life-size, cardboard cutout of himself — and the flesh-and-blood Parsons expression suggests an emotion somewhere between concern and perplexity.

The cardboard cutout, meanwhile, appears stoic and perhaps a little stiff.

In addition to the Mona Lisa-like expression on Cardboard Parsons’ mug, the photo bears an added element of mystery, in that the faux Parsons is decked out in a lab coat and stethoscope, while the background shows a rack full of wheel rims.

The incongruous elements of the photo caused a number of commenters to muse about exactly what was going on in the photo.

“Why there is wheel rims behind ?” asked one inquiring mind.
