Pilita Corrales was born on August 22, 1939 in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. She is an actress, known for Darna! Ang pagbabalik (1994), Jamboree '66 (1966) and Zamboanga (1966).

Has recorded over 100 albums in the Philippines.
In the early sixties she only recorded Spanish songs, then in the late sixties she started to record English and Filipino (Tagalog and Cebuano) music.
The only Filipina singer who performed during the July 4, 1966 Philippine concert of the Beatles at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium, Manila.
Mother of actress Jackie Lou Blanco and actor Ramon Christopher.
Ms. Corrales is able to speak 4 languages: her native Visayan (Cebuano)and Spanish as well as Tagalog and English, her secondary languages. She is also able to sing in Japanese and Italian.
She is half-Spanish.
Mother-in-law of Ricky Davao.
