Ron Cook was born in 1948 in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England. He is an actor, known for Hot Fuzz (2007), Chocolat (2000) and The Merchant of Venice (2004).

He was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 2000 (1999 season) for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in "Juno and The Paycock" at the Donmar Warehouse.
Was born in South Shields, England. A small town about 10 miles from the city of Newcastle upon tyne.
Was in the original cast of "Our Country's Good" by Timberlake Wertenbaker in 1988. Jim Broadbent also performed in the original production.
