In 1965, he served as executive producer for an unsold pilot for a proposed NBC comedy series called "Dream Wife" where Shirley Jones played a woman who, much to her husband's disgruntlement, could read minds and see into the future.

Produced the long-running Off-Broadway production of the Bertolt Brecht - Kurt Weill musical "The Threepenny Opera," which won a special 1956 Broadway Tony award, an unheard of achievement for an Off-Broadway production. He received a subsequent Tony producer nominations for the Graham Greene play "The Potting Shed" in 1957.
