Mini Bio (1)

Jonathan P. Chance (Jonathan Leif Copley Peretz Chance) was raised as a nomad, living in New York, Western Europe, Southwest Asia and Northern Africa during his youth. His father being a political scientist and his mother a classical musician, Jonathan was exposed to geopolitics and the arts from an early age. He started making super-8 films when he was twelve and continued filmmaking while at Concord Academy; while studying history, philosophy and political economics at McGill University; and at New York University where he escaped in 1988. Exploring a diversity of experience, Jonathan worked as a taxi driver, truck driver, photographer, agents' assistant, private investigator, paralegal, cinematographer, renewable energy entrepreneur, farmer, political and environmental activist, assistant producer, director of development, financial speculator, and numerous other ridiculous jobs in New York City, Boston, Los Angeles and elsewhere. Jonathan has directed over a dozen films and worked in various capacities on many others. He is the producer of Cinetopia.Net and the creator of some of America's most amazing films. Presently Jonathan is a consultant for JPChance & Rothschild Motors, the dean of JPChance University, and a minister with the Temple of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
