Lane Toran was born on October 15, 1982 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Lane Toran Caudell. He is an actor and composer, known for Hey Arnold! (1996), Recess (1997) and As Told by Ginger (2000).

He is the son of actor-singer Lane Caudell.
Produced a track on The Osbourne Family Album (from The Osbourne's tv show) called "Mirror Image". He also has written and produced tracks for Infant Records debut album, and produced and recorded indie artists.
C-wrote two songs, "Sweet Sixteen" and "Inner Strength", on Hilary Duff's triple-platinum first album, "Metamorphosis", with Duff.
His mother is former actress Mo Lauren Caudell - aka Mo Lauren, producer of the Southern California Children's Theatre and the Southern California Musical Theatre since 1991 at spectacular venues such as The Pasadena Civic, UCLA's Royce Hall and the Civic Arts Plaza.
Caudell's "Sweet Sixteen" is also the theme song for MTV's My Super Sweet 16 (2005) sung by Hilary Duff.
