Trivia (3)

Bruce a 2nd degree black belt in Chinese kenpo and trained under kenpo legand Ed Parker. While once setting the world record for highest flying knife edge kick, the record was later waved off as people only saw him make the second successful attempt and not the first, also successful, attempt. Not knowing themselves that it required two they did not prompt him for a third.
While visiting good friend William Smith in the hospital both Bruce and William discovered they are related as they are both decendants of Kit Carson.
At Universal Studios Florida there are 10 gold plaques mounted on the wall of stage 23 for the first 10 films shot on the studio lot. The plaques will stay there for the life of the studio so this bit of history will not be forgotten. Bruce created and wrote the film "The night brings Charlie" which is the second film on the wall right after "Parenthood" with Steve Martin.
