He was a writer and actor, known for The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (1972) and La pince à ongles (1969). He was previously married to Augusta Bouy, Nicole Janin and Nahal Tajadod. He died on 8 February 2021 in Paris, France.
