Johnny Carpenter was born on June 25, 1914 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, USA as Jasper Carpenter. He is known for his work on Outlaw Treasure (1955), The Lawless Rider (1954) and Badman's Gold (1951). He died on February 27, 2003 in Burbank, California, USA.

Brother of Frank 'Red' Carpenter.
Actor in second feature westerns who began as a stunt man under the name Josh Carpenter. He had a reputation as an excellent rider.
Was set to train with the Chicago White Sox in 1936 but was run over by a car in a hit and run accident. He fractured his left leg in seven places, breaking his back and causing internal injuries. After being in a body cast for 119 days, he had lost his chance at a baseball career.
