There may be new life in the military drama TV series “Seal Team” ending seven seasons in 2024, following the lives of an elite unit of ‘US Navy SEALs’, starring David Boreanaz as ‘Team Bravo’ leader ‘Jason Hayes’, with renewed interest in a stand-alone feature, focusing on stopping terrorist-designated drug cartels in Mexico:
“…with no one killed off in the finale, and an overall uplifting ending that is ripe with possibilities and new beginnings…
“…it’s possible for the procedural’s story to be revisited, as a stand-alone movie was announced in 2022…”
“In the final episode, after a successful mission resulted in the capture of a major fentanyl drug trader and the elimination of a ‘Green Beret’ traitor, ‘Jason Hayes’ (Boreanaz) and ‘Team Bravo’ head home to Virginia Beach.
“But the reprieve with family, as they process the intense events of the season, is short-lived, with the unit deployed to Afghanistan for one final mission.

Deleted scenes aren't uncommon with television shows, especially those on cable television. Shows typically need to keep their runtime under a certain number, so naturally, something has to be cut along the way. The Walking Dead was one of many shows to delete scenes and then include them in the DVD box for fans to enjoy. Those who bought the Season 2 DVD set were surprised to learn that the series cut out an entire sequence in the season's first episode.
Most deleted scenes don't drastically change anything about the episode's story, and should only be cut because they don't add anything more to the episode. But in the case of the deleted scenes in Season 2, Episode 1, "What Lies Ahead," there was a...

Action shows have been one of the most popular sources of entertainment for decades. Action TV series have been produced on a regular basis — some focusing on long-term, serialized stories of heroes while others have taken a shorter approach more suitable for a binging session. All things considered, however, the genre is almost as popular on TV as it is in the movies.
The action genre has produced incredibly memorable shows that can hold their own with blockbuster counterparts like Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible franchise. The genre has also proven to be incredibly versatile and has experimented with a range of formats, including real-time seasons, anthologies, and merging with other genres. All of these have combined to create brilliant shows that have thriving fandoms years if not decades later.

Seal Team said goodbye to a few characters over its seven-season run, which ended on Paramount+ with the October 6 series finale, but the one that still hurts the most is Clay Spenser, with Max Thieriot moving over to Fire Country. His death — as he was trying to help a vet at Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) and Naima’s (Parisa Fakhri) center — reverberated with the rest of Bravo throughout the rest of the sixth season as well as all of the seventh. But we could have still seen him again, in a flashback or some other way. Executive producer Spencer Hudnut, however, tells TV Insider he didn’t even try to get Thieriot back for the final episodes. “Truthfully, it was so difficult just keeping Max to finish his work Season 6 that I was not going to even try to open that can of worms,” he explains. However, he notes, “Clay exists.

The Paramount+ series Seal Team recently wrapped its seventh season. Following the series finale, David Boreanaz, who played Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes, addressed his character's fate in the military drama.
Speaking to Variety, Boreanaz revealed that the creative team had contemplated killing Jason. "We played with the idea in one season where he is taking more of a command in the Havoc [control] room and trying to feel what that would feel like," the actor said. "Personally, for me to put the character in that situation, I didn't feel that it made sense. I think it would be more awkward and a little bit more fish out of water. I mean, Master Chief wouldn't really be a fish out of water, but for that situation it'd be boring."

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Seal Team series finale “The Last Word.”] By the end of the Seal Team series finale, Bravo is moving forward without two key members—but, perhaps surprisingly, not because either of them dies. Still operating are Jason (David Boreanaz)—who’s doing better after going to see the wife of the first man he killed in Afghanistan—Omar (Raffi Barsoumian), Drew (Beau Knapp), Brock (Justin Melnick), and Trent (Tyler Grey). Ray (Neil Brown Jr.), meanwhile, does not retire to join Naima (Parisa Fakhri) full-time as Spenser House but instead takes the head of warfighter health position that had been marked for Jason. Sonny (A.J. Seal Team is currently in the middle of airing its seventh and final season on Paramount+. While some fans would have liked to have seen the military drama series continue with an eighth season, lead star David Boreanaz recently explained why now was the perfect time to end Seal Team.
In an interview with Collider to promote the final season of Seal Team, Boreanaz opened up about his decision to end the show after its seventh season, explaining that he "decided to end the show the way I wanted to end the show with the character. It was over for me. I knew that, and thats what I expressed to them. I was like, 'Im done, both physically and mentally.'" The actor shared that it is "very difficult to portray these types of emotions, day in day out, when youre shooting them."

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Seal Team Season 7 Episode 4 “Heroes and Criminals.”] There’s some pushback with a decision Jason (David Boreanaz) makes in the latest Seal Team episode as Bravo targets a factory in Myanmar tied to China and fentanyl production—but who exactly is he protecting? That’s the question Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) poses at the end. Jason refuses to allow the team to attempt their mission until he’s sure he minimizes the risk; then things go wrong during the heist part—if they take away the workers’ money, no one will be working when they make their move—and they have to get creative. It works, but when it’s all done, Ray comments on his out-of-character behavior and asks who he really was protecting because he knows it wasn’t Bravo. Jason doesn’t answer. “I think he was protecting himself for sure,” Boreanaz told TV Insider when he recently stopped by ...

David Boreanaz has been one of the hardest-working television actors in the business ever since getting his big break on Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997. Looking at his output since becoming everyone's favorite vampire cursed with a soul, Boreanaz has worked consistently across hit TV series after hit TV series without even much of a break. His latest series, Seal Team, is ending after a seven-season run and the actor is revealing that his body is the main reason the show is coming to an end. The next episode airs Aug. 18; the series finale will drop Oct. 6.
During a chat with People, Boreanaz spoke about the ending of Seal Team. Because he and the other actors were so dedicated to making sure the series was as authentic as possible, it began to take a toll on his body physically. A lot was riding on the first two episodes of Seal Team Season 7 after the Season 6 finale sent the show in an exciting direction.
As you’ll recall, Jason (David Boreanaz) went public with his Tbi while accepting an award, leaving his future up in the air.
Command was understandably blindsided by his actions and hauled him in to tell him that his career, as he knew it, was over.
In one of the most powerful TV scenes in recent memory, various Navy SEALs appeared to reveal their own ailments in a show of solidarity.
At the beginning of Seal Team Season 7 Episode 1, Bravo Team was still intact but not operating.
Simply put, the team members do what they usually do when back home, only over a longer time, because there’s no longer faith they’re a functional team.
The team is away from the field

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Seal Team Season 7 Episode 1 “Chaos in the Calm” and Episode 2 “Chaos in the Calm Pt. 2.”] When we think of Seal Team, we think of action-packed episodes, character-driven storylines, and the effects both have on Bravo. That was seen at the end of Season 6, with first Jason (David Boreanaz) speaking publicly about his Tbi, then other SEALs stepping forward as well. And as a result, when Season 7 begins, Bravo isn’t operating. Rather, the members of the team are basically all doing the last things they want to do (resulting in pranks), though Jason’s getting to spend time with his kids and Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) is getting a look at what life is going to be like when he retires in eight weeks. And when he retires, Ray will be able to focus on helping those the military isn’t; nothing’s been done on the Tbi or Pts fronts. Jason then ...
