Anders Brandt is one of three owners of Smartfilm AB, located in Malmö in southern Sweden.
He has been working for 27 years in the industry. He began working as a cinematographer the 90s but is lately combining this as a producer for a number of fiction films.
During his career Anders has been involved in many forms of film production all over the world. He began as a videographer filming and editing a children's program for television in Scandinavia named "Skurt" which resulted in more than 1800 episodes. Later in his carrier he has been filming documentaries and commercials in countries like The Ukraine, Egypt, Japan, South Africa and many more.
Since 2001 he is running his own film production company, Smartfilm, with 12 employees in southern Sweden. Smartfilm is mainly working with B2B documentary films and commercials but is building up a drama production department. His company has produced short films like "My Brother Charlie" 2009, and "My Father Died Every Night" 2015 and is currently in preproduction with its first feature length film.
