Hollywood 'anomaly' Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise is an 'anomaly' in Hollywood. The 50-year-old actor is famous for doing his own stunts in his action movies and stunt driver Joey Box, who worked with Tom on 'Jack Reacher', says Tom is great to work with because of his action skills. Speaking at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, Joey exclusively told Bang Showbiz: 'Tom is an anomaly, I've never worked with another actor who has the acumen for stunts that he does. He's done so much and he's trained for so many movies and so many different types of stunt work, fighting, fire, explosions, car chases, motorcycles. 'He has such a good solid foundation of skills that you're not really putting him in that much danger

Set Visit: Battle: Los Angeles Part 1

Set Visit: Battle: Los Angeles Part 1
When I found out I was going to visit the set of Battle: Los Angeles, I figured I wouldn't be traveling much farther than downtown L.A. or perhaps Santa Monica. I did see a different side of Santa Monica that I had never seen before on this set, for two reasons. One was the area was essentially reduced to rubble and, two, we weren't really in Santa Monica, California: we were in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was among a select group of journalist who were flown out to Baton Rouge, Louisiana (you know, the other La) to get a first-hand look at this new action-adventure from director Jonathan Liebesman, which arrives in theaters nationwide on March 11.

Aaron Eckhart stars as Staff Sergeant Michael Nantz, who must lead a team of young and inexperienced soldiers against an mysterious alien threat. Chances are, you might be thinking the same thing I

Boris Kodjoe Interview Undercovers

The NBC series Undercovers is a sexy, fun, action-packed spy drama from writer/producer/director J.J. Abrams and executive producer/writer Josh Reims. As far as their family and friends are concerned, Steven Bloom (Boris Kodjoe) and his wife Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) are a typical married couple with their own catering company in Los Angeles. But secretly, the duo were two of the best spies the CIA had ever known, until they retired five years ago. Now, they’ve been reinstated by their old boss, Carlton Shaw (Gerald McRaney), to locate and rescue a fellow spy who has gone missing.

In a recent interview, actor Boris Kodjoe talked about what a dream come true it is for him to play this role, how much he enjoys getting to do his own stunts, and what an honor it is to be the lead on one of the most-anticipated series of the Fall TV season.

Exclusive: Talking Music & Horror with Max Cavalera of Soulfly

  • Fangoria
In the vast ocean of metal, you’d be hard-pressed to find a musician as respected as Max Cavalera. After spending the better half of two decades as the frontman of Sepultura, the Brazilian guitarist/vocalist has been working almost non-stop since 1997 with his current band, Soulfly in addition to side projects including the Cavalera Conspiracy, reuniting with his brother Igor, former drummer of Sepultura.

With Soulfly set to embark on a U.S. tour later this month, the often-elusive Cavalera took time out from tour prep for a phone interview with Fangoria Musick to talk music, his love of horror (Coffin Joe!), and what the future holds for the band.

James Zahn/Fangoria: So you’re getting geared up for another tour here pretty soon.

Max Cavalera: Yep, we’re going back out on the road in a little more than two weeks.

Zahn: There was talk that
