Grete Berger had been living in Florence since 1929. In August 1940, she was deported to San Donato Val Comino (FR) as part of the confino libero program of the fascist government. There she stayed with 28 other interned people until April 1944 when she was deported Auschwitz. Grete Berger divorced her first husband. See more »
