John Beradino was born on May 1, 1917 in Los Angeles, California, USA as Giovanni Berardino. He was an actor and writer, known for General Hospital (1963), Adventures of Superman (1952) and Young Doctors in Love (1982). He was married to Marjorie Binder and Jeanette Nadine Barritt. He died on May 19, 1996 in Los Angeles.

Beradino was also a baseball player for the Cleveland Indians team that won the 1948 World Series, although he didn't play in the Series. He retired from baseball and returned to acting after injuring his leg in 1953.
