Trivia:

Was promoted to co-executive producer and new head writer on Angel (1999) after David Simkins left the show because of "creative differences". Simkins, himself, was supposed to be the new head writer, starting in season four after David Greenwalt left, Miracles (2003), and Tim Minear & Joss Whedon being too busy producing Firefly (2002).
