Original member of Improv Comedy Troup "The Committee" in San Francisco, CA in mid '60s.
He had a sideline of building, by hand, exquisite wooden instruments of the Renaissaince such as a Dulcimer, Hurdy-Gurdy, etc.
He was the original voice of "Garfield" in some animated inserts in The Fantastic Funnies (1980) before Lorenzo Music took the role in 1982.
Father of Dylan Beach and Sara Beach.
Appeared in three films that were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar: American Graffiti (1973), Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) and The Right Stuff (1983).
