Did You Know?

Trivia:

In 1974 he became the first person to direct a Doctor Who (1963) serial (Doctor Who: Robot: Part One (1974)) using videotape for location scenes. This was made possible via the use of an outside broadcast video unit instead of the traditional method of using film for capturing footage outdoors. In 1986, this became the normal method of recording for the series until it ended in 1989. See more »
