Primarily a character actor, he made his film debut as "Farm Boy Number 3" in Paul Mazursky's film The Pickle (1993), and is perhaps better remembered as the delivery man at the end of the film Se7en (1995).
The family surname was spelled "Arcouet" many generations back. His father had French-Canadian, English, Swiss-German, German, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh ancestry. Richmond's maternal grandfather, Yusseff "Joseph" Nowack, was a Jewish immigrant from Bila Zerkwa, Kiev, then in the Russian Empire, while Richmond's maternal grandmother, Claire Hibel, was born in New York, to Russian Jewish parents.
Nominated for Best Screenplay at the Northeast Film Festival 2013 with co-writer Derek Wayne Johnson for Broken Blood (2013).
