Caspar Arnhold was born in Frankfurt, Germany. His mother is a novelist, his father a photographer. In early age Caspar started out as assistant photographer and later as freelance photographer for Miss Vogue and Cosmopolitan. In school, he founded a theater company and went to London after A-levels to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and made his diploma at the London International School of Acting. Here he studied with Rosie Fellner, Catarina Furtado, Dina Clarkin, Mansaku Ikeuchi and Thomas Rushforth. His tutors included Mariana Hill, Thomas Wheatley, Michael Billington, Don Fellows, Andy Lucas, Anthony Simmons, Sir Timothy Ackroyd, Mila Bogen and Claude Chagrin. After doing a few short films, commercials and a play at the London Fringe, he went back to Germany where he became a well known face in German film and television. In 2004 he won as Director and Producer the German Film Awards in Gold for his short film Full Stop. Caspar works as a director for films and commercials, as well as executive producer. Most revent on the scifi feature film 'Nydenion' by Jack Moik, released worldwide in 2011.
