Excited For the Roswell Reboot? Get to Know the Cast of the New CW Series

  • Popsugar
It's been 16 years since Roswell last graced our television screens, but fans of the cult classic can rejoice as The CW is releasing a reboot titled Roswell, New Mexico in the upcoming 2018-2019 TV season. Much like the original show, the reboot will be based on the Roswell High book series by Melinda Metz, but unlike the Jason Katims teen alien drama, this time around, the storyline will be set 10 years after the characters graduate high school.

Another difference between the two series is the casts. While the original show served as a launching pad for stars like Shiri Appleby, Colin Hanks, and Katherine Heigl, who were all relatively unknown at the time, the reboot series will be stacked with plenty of actors you already know and love, like Michael Trevino from The Vampire Diaries and Tyler Blackburn from Pretty Little Liars. Interested to see who else will be starring in the new series?

UnREAL Series Finale Review: Bluff and Sudden Death

In UnREAL Season 4 Episode 7, Rachel and Tommy indirectly face off through the contestants they're supporting as Rachel begins to realize the extent of what she's done.

The show finally gains some momentum when Rachel gains a conscience. In past seasons, even though she's good at manipulating other people and finds some joy in it, she recognizes that she's feeding into a system.

Now, when she notices that her hair is falling out and that the consequences of the season are affecting her, she realizes that she is human, after all. It takes her an entire episode, but she realizes.

There's a bit of vengeful satisfaction in Rachel competing with Tommy, as he's jealous of Rachel wanting to keep August on the show. Tommy's admiration of Rachel comes from an extremely toxic place, even if they seem compatible.

Performer of the Week: Eliza Scanlen

Performer of the Week: Eliza Scanlen
The Performer | Eliza Scanlen

The Show | Sharp Objects

The Episode | “Fix” (July 22, 2018)

The Performance | With Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson playing a formidable mother-daughter duo, HBO’s Sharp Objects is already ridiculously blessed in the area of great female performances. But we couldn’t take our eyes off of Scanlen this week: The Australian newcomer commanded our attention with a gorgeously jagged, shape-shifting turn.

As Camille’s teen half-sister Amma, Scanlen is a true chameleon: At home, Amma pretends to be a prim, innocent child, happy to let her mother Adora brush her hair like she’s a life-size doll.

‘UnREAL’ Season 4 Review: The Frustrating Yet Fascinating Hulu Drama Ends On Its Own Terms

  • Indiewire
Fans of “UnREAL” received quite the surprise invitation last week: not just one last trip to the “Everlasting” mansion — only three months after the Emmy-nominated drama ended its third season — but a new address. Instead airing weekly on Lifetime, the entire season is now streaming on Hulu.

With the release, “UnREAL’s” creators close the book on a fond memory. Not only did the series prove to be a crucial stepping stone in Lifetime’s quest to redefine its brand and invest in more challenging, quality fare, but when it originally premiered in June 2015, the pilot of “UnREAL” stood out for its freshness; it wasn’t content to introduce “women behaving badly” as its characters’ defining element, and instead crafted a whole tableau of complicated women rich with flaws and vulnerabilities.

It also did so against one of the more shallow backdrops you could imagine — a downright eerie parody of

UnREAL Canceled After Four Seasons!

UnREAL is over at Lifetime.

The network has decided to part ways with the Constance Zimmer, and Shiri Appleby fronted drama after four seasons.

The writing has been on the wall for a while now, but with every episode of season 4 already completed before the cancelation, it means fans still have eight episodes left.

It was announced recently that UnREAL Season 4 would hit streaming services in territories other than the U.S. as early as this week. It's certainly a strange move when you consider the fact that UnREAL Season 3 concluded back in April.

A deal has been reached between Lifetime and Hulu, and Season 4 is available as of today to stream in its entirety.

The cameras have not only turned off for “Everlasting,” the reality show within the show on “Unreal,” but also for “Unreal” itself, which dropped all eight episodes of its fourth and final season on Hulu this morning (July 16).

“We’re so excited that people are getting it all at once because it’s always felt like that kind of show to me,” “Unreal” creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro tells Variety. “And when you get to the point where you feel like you absolutely can’t stand Rachel, you know there’s another turn coming, and it’s coming right away. ‘UnReal’ Accepts Hulu’s Proposal For a Fourth and Final Season — Starting Right Now

  • Indiewire
Hulu has finally confirmed that Lifetime drama “UnReal” is moving to the streaming service for its fourth season. And here’s a twist: It’s debuting on Hulu today. And here’s another twist: This is, indeed, the series’ final season.

It’s a surprise move befitting “Everlasting,” the dating competition show-within-a-show that is the centerpiece of “UnReal.” Word of a deal between Hulu and series producer A+E Studios first leaked in May, but was never formally announced until today’s final reveal.

As part of the deal, “UnReal” will now be branded as a Hulu Original Series. Hulu already carries the off-net runs of the first three seasons of “UnReal,” which means the entire library — including all eight episodes of Season 4 — will be available on the service as of today.

“‘UnReal’ has captivated audiences on Hulu since season one, so when this opportunity came to us, we knew we couldn’t miss out,

Dead & Co. Raise Record $1.1 Million at Oceana Benefit; Stars Sing the Praises of John Mayer
“This is the third year and it’s kind of becoming a thing,” said manager and environmentalist Keith Addis, surveying the annual backyard benefit concert for Oceana, the seawater conservation organization, held at his home in the Los Feliz hills. “Sting was the first. [Don] Henley was the second. They’re all guys who have supported Oceana in the past so they’re pre-enrolled in the cause.”

This year’s talent? Dead & Company, who performed a seven-song set — perhaps the smallest (only 260 guests) and shortest in the band’s legendary history — on Sunday night (July 8) that included such favorites as “Dark Star,” “Shakedown Street” and “Franklin’s Tower.” Among the revelers in the crowd were Shiri Appleby, Kelly Lynch, Eli Roth and Rodger Berman, husband of fashion designer Rachel Zoe.

“Their manager, Bernie Cahill, is a really good friend of mine,” Addis said. “Normally, it takes me a couple of months to lock down the talent.
