Lisa Arrindell

Lisa Arrindell was born at Parkchester General Hospital in the Bronx and brought straight home to Brooklyn, where she grew up. She attended The High School of Performing Arts, now called The Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts and Performing Arts. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre at The Juilliard School.
Lisa's acting career spans work in television, film, and theatre. She recently starred in the film 12 Angry Men And...Women on Apple TV with Wendell Pierce, and BET's Favorite Son. She continues to build a body of work that honors the legacy of theatre and film craftspeople who paved the way for a more complete American story to be told. In 2022, Lisa opened the new season of Law & Order. She has also guest starred on several other network series, including HBO's Random Acts of Flyness, Our Kind Of People, CBS's Bull, Elementary, Madam Secretary, NBC's Law & Order SVU, ABC's Notorious, and Bounce TV's Saints & Sinners.
Some of her stage performances include the Broadway production of Cat On a Hot Tin Roof with James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad, Jubilee (Arena Stage), Reparations (The Billie Holiday Theatre), Richard III (The Delacorte Theater), Heliotrope Bouquet (Playwrights Horizons), and Earth & Sky (Second Stage).
Her starring film credits include Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion, HBO's A Lesson Before Dying, Disappearing Acts, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, The Sin Seer, Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years, Christmas Wedding Baby, First Impression, and A Christmas Blessing.
As a keynote speaker, Lisa educates and inspires audiences with her passion for health and wholeness. She is the resident acting coach for Starz's P-Valley Season 2. She enjoys teaching and is a staff member of The Freeman Studio of Acting and The Billie Holiday Theatre's Youth Arts Academy in New York City.
