Kenny Alfonso is a veteran character actor and comic born and raised in Tampa, FL. Notable film and television credits include Pain Hustlers, Dopesick, The Thing About Pam, Jerry and Marge Go Large and The Founder. Recurring television roles include Wolf Pack, Nashville, Long Slow Exhale, Stargirl, Saints and Sinners, The Have and Have Nots, Marry Me and 6 seasons on Drop Dead Diva. He's guest starred in NCIS - New Orleans, The Resident, Creepshow, Hightown and Prison Break among others. He's worked alongside Academy Award winning actors Michael Keaton, Renee Zellwegger, Annette Benning and Patty Duke as well as Oscar winning Directors Barry Levinson, Tate Taylor and David Frankel. Alfonso won 'Best Actor in a Comedy' for The Bank at the LA Live Film Festival in 2022 and won 'Best Lead Actor in a Drama' for The Crossing in 2021 at the South Film and Arts Academy Festival. He's performed on sketch comedy and improv stages from coast to coast and his commercial credits are 80 plus. As the Co-host of Barkitecture, a 'How To' show on the D.I.Y. Network and HGTV, he built custom doghouses for rescued and adopted dogs and their new forever families. His daughter Jessy Alfonso works in Casting and he continues to write sketch comedy with his partner since 1999, actress Melissa Ponzio, (Chicago Fire, Teen Wolf, Walking Dead) who he admits is much funnier.
