Mireille Darc was born on May 15, 1938 in Toulon, Var, France as Mireille Aigroz. She was an actress and director, known for Weekend (1967), Galia (1966) and OK Patron (1974). She was married to Pascal Desprez. She died on August 28, 2017 in Paris, France.

Godmother of Romain Sardou.
Had longtime relationship with actor Alain Delon from 1968 to 1982.
Was awarded the Légion d'honneur in 2006.
Born Mireille Aigroz, she adopted the stage name Darc due to her esteem of French national heroine Jeanne D'Arc.
Had a heart condition from childhood. In the 1980's her career was interrupted by open-heart surgery after a car accident in which she sustained serious injuries. She had further heart surgery in 2013.
Studied at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Toulon before making her acting debut in Paris in 1959.
