  • Trivia
After leaving acting to marry and raise three children with Hugh Beaumont, she taught school, earned a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, became a licensed psychologist and after retirement returned to her first love - writing. She published two books, "A Long Year of Silence" and "Wild Orphan" through Edinborough Press.
  • Quotes
[on why she left films] I didn't regret leaving it; I regret not appreciating it more at the time. It all came so easy, I just didn't think of it then, like I do now. Hugh [husband Hugh Beaumont] didn't ask me to quit--I just quit to raise my children. It was a different world. Acting wasn't something I longed for--it just happened.
