Stephen Amell Still Wants An Arrow/Supernatural Crossover

If there’s one thing that Stephen Amell wants to see happen on Arrow above all else, it’s a crossover with that other long-running CW drama, Supernatural. The Oliver Queen actor has been talking about his interest in teaming up with the Winchester Brothers for years now, and it seems like he’s still not over it.

Amell took to Twitter today to share a photo of himself with Jensen Ackles, who’s played Dean Winchester on Supernatural for a staggering 13 seasons, with another one confirmed to be on the way. The actor captioned his snap: “It’s the crossover we deserve” – further teasing fans with the possibility of it happening.

Unlike most TV crossovers, which can often chip away at the integrity of the shows in question, a union of Arrow and Supernatural would actually be perfectly feasible. After all, both have explored alternate universes before. In particular,

Did Supernatural Spoil Its Surprise? Is #OneChicago Ring Cursed? Were Grey's Exits Sweet or Too Swift? And More Qs
We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Timeless, Lucifer, Grey’s Anatomy and Supernatural!

1 | Could Once Upon a Time‘s body double for Wish Rumple have been any more distracting of a physical mismatch? (Is that a hat rack wearing a wig?)

2 | Why didn’t Hawaii Five-0 try harder to give 15-years-younger Flashback Steve a fuller head of hair, or at least closer to the ‘do he arrived on the show with?

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki Look Supernaturally Sexy in NYC, and We Can't Handle It

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki Look Supernaturally Sexy in NYC, and We Can't Handle It
Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins all stepped out for the CW Upfronts in NYC to promote their show, Supernatural, on Thursday, and boy, do they clean up nicely. Not only did the trio clearly color-coordinate their outfits, but the guys also showed off their adorable bromance and picture-perfect smiles as they struck fun poses for the cameras. Unfortunately, they didn't bring their other halves this time around.

Supernatural is closing out its 13th season tonight, but don't worry, it's not ending anytime soon. While attending the La PaleyFest back in March, Misha confirmed that there's currently no end in sight. "We're full steam ahead right now. We're loving it while we're going, and we don't know when it ends," he said. "But it doesn't end right now." Phew! Now we can all breathe a sigh of relief.

Wayward Sisters: The CW Passes on Supernatural Spinoff Series

We're sorry to report The CW has declined to order the Wayward Sisters TV show to series. The project would have been a spinoff to the network's successful, long-lived Supernatural and aired as a backdoor pilot, during the current season of the original program. It did well in the ratings and drew a lot of social media attention, so the decision not to move forward is frustrating to the cast and crew -- and to fans as well (this writer among them). Developed by Andrew Dabb and Robert Berens, Wayward Sisters stars Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, Kathryn Newton, Katherine Ramdeen, Clark Backo, and Yadira Guevara-Prip. Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles co-starred in the Wayward Sisters pilot, which aired as episode 13.10 of Supernatural on January 18, 2018, on The CW. The entire Supernatural

Supernatural: Season 13 Ratings

As though laboring under a curse, in its early seasons on The WB and The CW, the Supernatural TV show seemed in perpetual danger of being cancelled. After 12 years of their characters living (and dying and resurrecting) hard, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have honed in on Supernatural's 300th episode as their next milestone -- one which would take them halfway into a 14th installment. With the potential spinoff, Wayward Sisters, set to debut as a backdoor pilot during this 13th season, can this long-running series perform well enough in the Nielsen ratings to get them there? Will Supernatural end with lucky 13, or will their '67 black Impala, Baby, steer them safely to a season 14 renewal? Stay tuned. ***A paranormal horror drama, season 13 of Supernatural stars Jared Padaldecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester. The CW cast

Supernatural Showrunner Teases Jensen Ackles’ New Character

Supernatural showrunner, Andrew Dabb, has given a few hints towards the identity of the mystery new character set to be portrayed by Dean Winchester actor, Jensen Ackles. Supernatural is currently very much in the endgame of its thirteenth season and, as you might expect, things aren’t looking great for the Winchester brothers. Teaming up with previous villains Rowena and Ketch, the central trio of Sam, Dean and Cass have infiltrated the so-called “apocalypse world” to find both their missing Mother and their friend, Jack. Unfortunately, Jack’s biological father, none other than Lucifer himself, insisted on coming along for the ride.

Supernatural Recap: Nine Lives

Supernatural Recap: Nine Lives
It’s May sweeps, so you know what that means, Supernatural fans? It’s that time of year when one of the brothers is dying. And even though we’ve been down this road before many times, it still hurts.

The beginning of the end kicks off when Dean, Sam, Castiel and Rowena discover that Gabriel is running low on archangel grace, causing the rift opening to fizzle out. Much as they hate to admit it, they need Lucifer. Sam is vehemently against the idea of teaming with the devil again, but Cas points out that Lucifer is already out there because of them,

2018 Daytime Emmy reels: Greg Vaughan (‘Days’) can’t help falling in love with his stepbrother’s girlfriend [Watch]
After more than 15 years in daytime TV Greg Vaughan earned his very first Daytime Emmy nomination this year: Best Supporting Actor for his role as Eric Brady on “Days of Our Lives.” The role had previously been played by current “Supernatural” star Jensen Ackles, who earned Younger Actor nominations from 1998-2000. Vaughan took over in 2012 and has been playing the role ever since. Will it bring him his first Emmy? The winners will be announced on April 29, but they’ve already been decided in the drama acting categories by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. Watch Vaughan’s submission above.

Vaughan’s reel focuses on the tumultuous relationship between Eric and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). In the first scene Eric tracks down Nicole, who has run away from Salem. Since debuting in 2005, Supernatural has become the longest-running sci-fi series in the history of U.S. television. That Insane Supernatural/Scooby-Doo Crossover Was A Huge Ratings Hit

It’s been years since I was even the tiniest bit interested in Supernatural, which all-too-often feels like a show that’s stuck spinning its wheels. But apparently, all it takes to get me hooked again is one of the most insane crossover episodes in recent television history – throwing in Scooby-Doo. The resulting hybrid was, of course, named Scoobynatural and it was ridiculously good fun.

The episode saw Sam and Dean sucked into the animated world of Scooby-Doo, presented as a more innocent place in which ghosts and monsters are generally just men in silly outfits, with the Supernatural cast acting as a kind of corrupting influence on the world. And so what would have been a typical Scooby-Doo plot gradually transforms into a more gruesome and tense adventure that gives the Scooby gang a bit more of a mature dimension without sacrificing the essence of their characters. It was

“Supernatural” waited until lucky Season 13 to visit another spooky series known for its good-looking sleuths who take on ghosts and monsters. On Thursday’s “Scoobynatural” episode, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) acquire a wide-screen TV that not only has great resolution, but also transports them into an episode of “Scooby-Doo.”

It just so happens that they fell into “A Night of Fright Is No Delight,” the 16th episode of the first season of “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!” We know this because apparently, Dean is a huge Scooby stan since the cartoon was always on TV no matter where their childhood monster-hunting travels took them.
