Roger Kupelian is a multi-faceted cinematic artist and has contributed
visuals to major Hollywood film projects. for close to three decades.
His extensive list of credits includes Peter Jackson's Academy award
winning The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Clint Eastwood's Flags of Our
Fathers, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, Space Jam (the original),
Marvel's Moon Knight, The Griffith Park Observatory's latest
full dome show Signs of Life, among many other unique efforts.
His artwork has been published numerous times and was featured in
many of the Lord of the Rings film books (and even as part of a stamp
collection for the New Zealand postal service). He has directed and
co-produced numerous short films and award-winning music videos,
using a variety of current and legacy techniques. His illustrations have
appeared in a variety of publications, including his East of Byzantium
graphic novel series.
