Josh Brolin keen to return as Thanos after Avengers 4

We know that Josh Brolin will be reprising the role of Thanos for next year’s as-yet-untitled Avengers: Infinity War follow-up, but the actor has now revealed to Screen Rant that he’s hoping to get the opportunity to bring the Mad Titan back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Phase Four or beyond.

During a press junket for his new film Sicario: Day of the Soldado, Brolin was asked about the possibility of Thanos appearing in the recently-revealed Eternals movie, and while he wasn’t aware of that particular project, he did express his keen interest in continuing the villain’s story:

“Yeah, you know what, I don’t know what the future brings and who knows, but love the idea of something infinite like this. I’ve never been involved in sequels. The fact that we’ve done some of Avengers 2, oh sorry, Avengers 4 but Infinity War 2, I’m going back.

Ryan Reynolds Is Still Hoping For Deadpool To Join The Avengers

In stereotypical Canadian fashion, the pride of Vancouver, Ryan Reynolds, can’t help being the most friendly son of a gun on the planet. Then again, I suppose if my R-rated farce, aka Deadpool 2, currently sat at $665 million worldwide, I’d be playful, too.

A few days ago, the wearer of the “big red body condom” added another A-lister to his already impressive Rolodex of playmates in the form of Kanye West. After Yeezy made it known that he loves “both Deadpool movies” and “would have cleared his music” for the Merc with a Mouth, Reynolds quickly, almost instinctively, acknowledged the American rapper, confirming that he agreed and would be “having a word with Celine Dion.”

Now, the unconventionally foul-mouthed Canuck is at it once again, this time hoping to turn another superhero outside of his cinematic universe, Captain America, into his latest bestie. As you may have seen,

Aquaman Director Confirms Trailer Release Date

For many fans, it’s a huge relief to learn that Aquaman director James Wan is seemingly distancing himself from the previous films in the Dceu. Of course, in terms of continuity, that would be catastrophic and we’ll leave that to the numerous Joker pics in production. But in terms of the feel and look of the solo effort, Arthur Curry’s standalone outing seems set to be a breath of fresh air. Or, sea air at least

After all, just a few days ago, Warner Bros. film chief Toby Emmerich told Entertainment Weekly that Wan has delivered an “extraordinary” expansion of the DC Extended Universe, one that’s capable of steering the superhero franchise in a totally new direction with its “great humor” and the fact it “works on so many levels.” And we’ll finally get to see what the director’s cooked up for ourselves next month.

Universal’s International Chief Duncan Clark on Bond, Grinch, Dolittle, Pokemon

Universal’s International Chief Duncan Clark on Bond, Grinch, Dolittle, Pokemon
Following the stellar overseas opening for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” Universal’s international chief Duncan Clark is confident about an upcoming release slate that includes Bond 25, “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch,” “The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle,” Pokemon movie “Detective Pikachu,” and potential awards contenders like “First Man.”

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” opened recently in international markets with a monster opening weekend of $150 million. Its release shortly before the start of the FIFA World Cup could have raised eyebrows, but Clark, president of distribution at Universal Pictures Intl., is confident that the movie will continue to thrive, despite the competition from soccer.

“In many parts of the world the timeline of the World Cup will not really interfere with [the film’s performance, such as] in Asia and Latin America,” he says. “In the first two weeks of the World Cup, there is less drama and less potent matches because they are in group matches. On days when the countries play,

Aquaman Docks On Latest EW Cover As James Wan Teases A “Whole New Underwater World”

The lush world of Atlantis beckons, ladies and gentleman, and this December, James Wan and his team will plunge beneath the waves for a DC movie the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

We are, of course, referring to Aquaman, the newly-appointed cover star of Entertainment Weekly. This issue arrives just in time, too, what with the film’s first trailer expected online any day now – based on the timing of EW’s reveal, the safe bet would be tomorrow, June 15th.

Either way, in the gallery below you’ll find two covers: one dedicated to Jason Momoa’s King of the Seven, and another that places Arthur Curry between the two leading ladies of Atlantis, Mera (Amber Heard) and Queen Atlanna (Nicole Kidman).

And in the eyes of James Wan, Aquaman sets itself apart from its DC peers in that it’s best described as a “sci-fi fantasy film.

World Cup Broadcasters Offer Added Kick to Return on Pricey Rights Fees

Even if rights auctions proved underwhelming in many countries, the World Cup, which kicks off June 14 in Russia, remains the second-biggest global TV event outside of the Olympics and a brand booster for broadcasters in most parts of the world.

But competition from less costly

programming and shifting viewing habits pose challenges for those who splurged for rights to the quadrennial soccer tournament. Outlets are banking on digital innovation, cross-platform coverage and more commentary — often celebrity-led — to maximize ratings, broaden their audience base and lure more advertisers.

In Europe, soccer is still a ratings champion, but TV outlets in key territories such as France,

Deadpool Targets Thanos On New Marvel 10th Anniversary Parody Poster

Deadpool usually likes to ruffle a few feathers by breaking the odd fourth wall here and there. From mocking Ryan Reynolds himself for starring in Green Lantern, to sending up his own film because the production company couldn’t afford enough X-Men, to constantly digging at his much-maligned outing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, you can always count on the Merc for a good laugh.

Sticking with taking it to Marvel this time, Deadpool’s had a day or so to peruse the McU’s 33 10th anniversary celebration posters and has in turn responded in such a way that only he can. Here, the regenerating degenerate features in his own Marvel 10th anniversary artwork (regardless of the fact that Deadpool was only released in 2016 and isn’t part of the McU), sitting atop Thanos’ throne, with the Infinity Gauntlet complete and held high.

Kanye West Says He Loves Deadpool, Would’ve Given His Music To It

While his on-screen counterpart isn’t exactly the friendliest foul-mouthed mercenary, Ryan Reynolds doesn’t shy away from forging a lifelong friendship now and again, especially when the initiator is showering him with praise.

Earlier this year, the pride of Vancouver somehow managed to play nice with DC heroine, Gal Gadot, before making Guardians Of The Galaxy kingpin, James Gunn, his newest bestie. Now, it would seem that Reynolds has found himself another admirer thanks to the “big red body condom,” Kanye West.

During a Twitter rant this afternoon, West made it known that he loves “both Deadpool movies,” but was rather upset when he “heard tracks that sound similar” to his as he “would have cleared his music” for the Merc with a Mouth.

New Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Poster Highlights Deathstroke

When we think of the quintessential villains to have been a thorn in the side of DC’s more prominent adolescent heroes, it’s only understandable that Deathstroke be among the first that come to mind. Thus, it makes sense that he show up in some capacity in this summer’s animated feature Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.

Normally, that slot’s been reserved for Ron Perlman, whom we know to have voiced the character in the TV series that gave way to the big screen sibling. But in a way not dissimilar to how the studio acquired a bigger name to voice Superman such as Nicolas Cage, some recasting was apparently in order here.

When it comes to this particular iteration of Deathstroke, he’ll be voiced by none other than Will Arnett and lately, he’s been engaging in a friendly social media war with none other than Deadpool‘s Ryan Reynolds.
