Pauley Perrette and Mark Harmon Feud: CBS Boss Reacts to NCIS Actor's 'Assault' Claim

With CBS as the latest network to take to the Television Critics Association summer press tour, it was only a matter of time before reporters asked about the ongoing feud between Pauley Perrette and Mark Harmon.

Addressing reporters on Thursday, the network's entertainment, Kelly Kahl, reacted to the drama, saying “I can’t speak to what she’s addressing in her tweets."

He continued," She did come to us a couple years ago with a workplace concern. We immediately investigated it and we resolved it to everyone’s satisfaction.”

CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl briefly addressed the long-simmering feud between Pauley Perrette and her former “NCIS” co-star Mark Harmon on Thursday following his executive session during the Television Critics Association press tour.

“I can’t speak to what she’s addressing in her tweets,” Kahl told reporters. “We’re very happy to have her on the air again this year with us. I don’t think she would be back with us if she had huge concerns.”

Perrette, who is making her return to the network at midseason with the new comedy “Broke,” tweeted in June that she would never return to “NCIS,” which she starred on for 15 seasons before leaving in 2018 because she was “terrified” of Harmon. As TheWrap previously reported, Perrette exited the long-running drama amid conflict with Harmon over an on-set incident involving a dog bite.

Today at CBS’s TCA summer tour day, the network’s President of Entertainment Kelly Kahl was asked to address Pauley Perrette’s revived assault claims against NCIS star Mark Harmon on Twitter.

Back in June, Perrette said in a Tweet to her social media followers questioning her return to NCIS, “No I Am Not Coming Back! Ever! (Please stop asking?) I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it.” In 2018, the actress also took to Twitter in 2018, suggesting she was the victim of “multiple physical assaults” which may have led to her departure from NCIS in May that year.

Said Kahl, “I can’t speak to to what she’s addressing in her tweets. She came to us with a workplace concern, we immediately investigated it and resolved it to everyone’s satisfaction and we’re very happy to have her on the air with us this year.

After leaving viewers to mull over an enormous cliffhanger for months, Freeform's mermaid-themed drama is back and better than ever before.

With the events of Siren Season 2 Episode 8 catching both the audience and characters off guard, it didn't seem as if the series could get any more explosive.

But Siren Season 2 Episode 9 proved us wrong. 

The stakes were high right from the get-go. Viewers were thrown directly back into the action with only moments passing from the time we last saw the characters.

In a nail biting-worthy scene, Ben and Maddie were able to save Xander and Calvin from The North Star with only minor injuries. Despite Ben's offer, Xander decided to let the boat burn rather than call the Coast Guard.

NCIS Alum Pauley Perrette Was Assaulted by Mark Harmon, Report Alleges

Tensions on the NCIS set were at an all-time high in the months leading up to Pauley Perrette's departure.

More details have emerged about what really went on behind closed doors on the set of the CBS juggernaut, and the latest report seems to support Perrette's tweet storm about being "physically assaulted" on the show.

Perrette departed NCIS after 15 seasons in the role of Abby Sciuto back in 2018. The actress was open about the set not being the healthiest of environments to work on.

"I've been supporting ant-bullying programs forever. But now I Know because it was Me! If it's school or work, that you're required to go to?" she Tweeted in May last year.

CBS Fall 2019-2020 Trailers: Comedies ‘Bob Hearts Abishola’ and ‘Carol’s Second Act,’ Drama ‘All Rise’ (Watch)
