Now, it looks like he's going to have some company as Reddick, who has starred in hit shows like The Wire and Fringe, has boarded the movie in what sounds like a key role.

In Angel Has Fallen, which arrives in theaters sometime this year, Lance Reddick will play Gentry, who serves as the interim director of the Secret Service. Reddick is no stranger to action movies, as he's starred alongside Keanu Reeves in both John Wick and John Wick: Chapter 2. Critic's Notebook: Strong Year for TV Actresses Means Stiff Competition for Golden Globes and SAG Awards

It hasn't been that long since the Golden Globe best actress field was thin enough that the HFPA could be swayed into oddball nominations like Callie Thorne for Necessary Roughness or Piper Perabo for Covert Affairs. Well played, USA.

It's only been a few years since the SAG Award for female actor in a drama could go to Maggie Smith for five minutes of expert sarcasm on Downton Abbey. Well, everybody loves a Dame.

Now, as a winter of award nominations looms, it's the best actress fields that are clearly the most competitive on the TV side, the categories most...

Trump Facing Growing Pressure on Twitter to #FireBannon After Deadly White Nationalist Rally in Charlottesville
After violence erupted and claimed the life of an anti-racist protester at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, this weekend, President Donald Trump faced growing pressure on social media to fire chief strategist Steve Bannon — the man who once proudly proclaimed his Breitbart News website as “the platform for the alt-right.”

The hashtag #FireBannon was trending on Twitter for much of Sunday evening and into Monday as celebrities and politicians called for Trump to axe Bannon, who is often cited as the nexus between the president and white nationalists.

“White supremacy has no place in America,” tweeted Star Trek actor George Takei.

Pride Month is already well under way! With events, parades, and more, people are coming together to celebrate and show support for the Lgbtq community, and we love it!

But let’s face it, no matter how festive the mood is sometimes the last thing we want to do is go out in the boiling hot sun or pouring rain to stand side-by-side with a horde of sweaty strangers. If you’d rather stay home, you can still celebrate Pride with these movies (and more) from the Cineplex Store!

Boys Don’t Cry

Hilary Swank won an Academy Award for her leading role in this film, which tells the true story of Brandon Teena, a transgender teen living in rural Nebraska. Brokeback Mountain

Widely hailed as an instant classic for its sensitive portrayal of forbidden romance, this period drama tells the story of two cowboys, Ennis Del Mar (Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), and their decades-long love affair in 1960s Wyoming. Carol

The friendship between two women (Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara) deepens into love in 1950s New York, challenging conventional social norms, and the effects ripple through their families and community. Nominated for multiple awards, this unmissable drama was included on many "Best of" lists for 2015.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Based (very) loosely on the familiar story of Dr. Frankenstein, this campy, outrageous cult classic finds a strait-laced couple (Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick) stumbling upon a party thrown by the "transvestite from transsexual Transylvania" Dr. Frank-n-Furter (Tim Curry). The plot is wacky, but the final message of "don't dream it, be it" certainly fits with the Pride theme of self-acceptance!
