The Felicity Cast Reunited at the Atx Television Festival, and They Haven't Changed a Bit
Dear Sally . . . The Felicity cast reunited at the Atx Television Festival and the nostalgia is overwhelming. Members of the iconic show's original cast, including Keri Russell, Scott Speedman, Scott Foley, Amy Jo Johnson, Greg Grunberg, Amanda Foreman, Ian Gomez, Rob Benedict, and Tangi Miller, gathered onstage in Austin to answer audience questions, reminisce over the series's controversial last episodes, and talk about a possible reboot.

After the revivals of other fan-favorite shows like Full House and Gilmore Girls, the idea of a reboot was definitely on everyone's mind during the cast's panel. According to Deadline, Foley previously said he wouldn't be interested in bringing the show back, but changed his comments while with his castmates on Sunday, saying he'd love the "opportunity to see what happened" to the characters. Speedman reaffirmed Foley's comments and said, "There's a way to make it work."

A reboot? It's starting to feel like 1998 all over again.

‘Felicity’ Cast Attempt To Remember Details Of Time-Traveling Finale, Scott Foley Backpedals On Reboot Talks – Atx
As the cast of Felicity took the stage at the Paramount Theatre for the 20-year reunion at the Atx Television Festival, the memorable, comforting theme song echoed through the sold-out audience. Fans of the then-WB channel, angsty college drama welcomed stars Keri Russell, Scott Speedman, Scott Foley, Tangi Miller, Amanda Foreman, Ian Gomez, Greg Grunberg, Rob Benedict, Amy Jo Johnson, and show director/executive producer Lawrence Trilling as they reflected on their experiences on the show. But amidst all the nostalgia, cast camaraderie, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes, the cast had a tough time recalling that multi-tiered series finale and Noel — er, I mean Foley backpedaled his thoughts on a Felicity reunion.

Created by J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves, Felicity aired from 1998 to 2002 and followed the awkward and enlightening college ups and downs of the

The cast of “Felicity” is coming around on a reboot. Star Scott Foley said that he had been resistant to revisiting the show until the cast reunited on stage on Sunday at the Atx Television Festival in Austin.

“I feel the show was so specific to the characters in that time of their lives,” Foley said, recounting what he had previously told a reporter when asked the question of a “Felicity” reboot. “To do it again would be an injustice to the show we all made and all love.”

But then came the “Felicity” reunion on stage at Atx, featuring stars Keri Russell, Scott Speedman, Foley, Greg Grunberg, Tangi Miller, Amanda Foreman, Ian Gomez, Rob Benedict, and Amy Jo Johnson. The panel kicked off with a clip of the series’ four-year run on The WB (1998-2002), now streaming on Hulu.

“Looking at these faces and seeing that clip, and feeling

Keri Russell stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen with her The Americans costar and partner Matthew Rhys and was asked about the panel and whether that meant something else was in the works. "Tell them about the feature film you're not supposed to talk about," Rhys joked. Or was he joking? "I can tell you that we're going, and…that's it," Russell said. Watch Harry Lennix as God in New Trailer for Christopher Nolen’s '72 Hours'

Back in June, I did an interview with up and coming Chicago based filmmaker Christopher Nolen (Here), which proved that you don’t have to be in N.Y. or L.A. to achieve your filmmaking dreams. Vaughn, Cynda Williams, Brian Hooks, Chyna Layne, Brely Evans, Tangi Miller, and Thea Camara and is set to be released later this year. Review: Felicity Seasons One and Two

  • Comicmix
Before Star Trek was Fringe and Lost, and Alias and before Alias was Felicity. It may be hard to recall that genre wunderkind Abrams actually broke into television by making a splash in 1998 with the WB series about a college girl. Created with Cabin in the Woods collaborator Matt Reeves, the series is worth a second look given the storytelling, music, and keen eye for casting that first introduced to an armload of performers who have gone on to success, including repeat appearances in later Abrams productions. Or do you think Keri Russell’s cameo in Mission: Impossible 3 was an oddity?

Lionsgate has resurrected the first two seasons in newly packaged DVDs, both out this week. The WB knew that a female-skewing series with a high concept would be a good fit for their struggling network so when Abrams and Reeves turned up with the concept, there was excitement.

Keri Russell Cast in FX’s Kgb Spy Drama, The Americans

  • Vulture
Keri Russell Cast in FX’s Kgb Spy Drama, The Americans
Keri Russell will star in FX's Cold War spy drama The Americans, the network announced today. Wonderful! The show, set in the D.C. burbs in the eighties, centers on Elizabeth and Phillip Jennings (Russell and a yet-to-be-cast co-star), two Kgb spies posing as suburban American parents. The show was created by Joe Wiesberg, who used to work for the CIA, so he probably knows all kinds of secrets. This is quite the pilot season for Felicity alums: Scott Foley was cast in The Goodwin Games, Greg Grunberg in a CBS comedy, Scott Speedman in Last Resort, and now this. Amanda Foreman and Tangi Miller, call your agents.
