‘Star’ Renewed for Season 3 by Fox
Star” has been renewed for a third season at Fox.

The musical drama centered on a girl group trio trying will be returning for the 2018-19 television season.

The series stars Jude Demorest, Brittany O’Grady and Ryan Destiny as the singers of the group, with Queen Latifah as their mentor and surrogate mother. Benjamin Bratt, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Michael Michele, Stephen Dorff and Luke James also star.

In good news for the Bordelon family, the Queen Sugar TV show has been renewed for a third season on Own. Season two just premiered on June 20th. In addition to the renewal, Own has announced a new first-look deal with Queen Sugar creator, Ava DuVernay. Queen Sugar” has been renewed for Season 3 at the Oprah Winfrey Network (Own), while series showrunner Ava DuVernay has signed a first-look television and digital media deal with Winfrey’s Harpo Films, Variety has learned.

“I’m so proud of Ava and her ability as a filmmaker to challenge the status quo and push for inclusiveness on screen and behind the camera. I love, love, love the work we have been able to create so far. I am looking forward to developing many more meaningful projects together,” Winfrey said.

Queen Sugar” follows the Bordelon siblings in Louisiana. Season 2 of the series debuted on June 20 with its highest-rated episode ever in key adult and female demos. It is currently averaging 2.4 million viewers per episode in delayed viewing. Own has renewed Ava DuVernary’s “Queen Sugar” for a third season, Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Films said on Wednesday. Additionally, the production company has signed DuVernay to a first-look deal for television and digital media. The first collaboration from the agreement will be DuVernay’s “Central Park Five” limited series on Netflix. That project is a collaboration between Participant Media, Tribeca Productions and Harpo Films. “Queen Sugar” hails from Warner Horizon Scripted Television. The Wednesday 10 p.m. show, which chronicles the lives and loves of the Bordelon siblings in Louisiana, is adding Michael Michele, Roger Guenveur Smith and Beverly Todd to its ongoing Season.

The cast of Fox's "Delirium" pilot must be getting a lot of fun fan-based feedback on Twitter because they've shared a few generous glimpses from the new set of production to help elevate the anticipation even further. As revealed by Gregg Sulkin (who portrays Julian Fineman in the network's adaptation of Lauren Oliver's best-selling book series) and Billy Campbell (who portrays the father), part of this week's production took place by a pool, while another segment was completed near a marina.
