Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham Battle Idris Elba's "Black Superman" in Hobbs and Shaw Trailer

Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham Battle Idris Elba's
After getting the first badass look at Hobbs and Shaw, the second trailer is here. And it's even more jam-packed with action.

Following a deluge of approximately one trillion behind-the-scenes photos, some official portraits, and drooling over every casting announcement, the latest glimpse of the Fast and Furious spinoff doesn't disappoint. Luckily, it seems to have the same fun, action-heavy tone as the original franchise, only this time around, with the introduction of a superhuman villain played by Idris Elba.

Johnson stars as the titular Hobbs, a hard-ass Us diplomatic security agent, alongside Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, a former villain with a heart of gold. Together with Shaw's sister, rogue MI6 agent Hattie (The Crown's Vanessa Kirby), they're tasked with putting all their smack talk and fist fights aside so they can take down a cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist dubbed "black Superman," Brixton (Elba), who's gained control of a

Blast From the Past! The Fast and Furious Cast Have Changed a Lot Since Their First Red Carpet
Remember when the Fast and Furious cast was one big, happy family? Dwayne Johnson was "Uncle Hobbs" to Vin Diesel's kids, and all the guys got along. Ah, those were the good old days! Sadly, the franchise has been plagued by drama following a major rift between Dwayne and Vin, and we're still unsure if Dwayne will actually be in Fast 9 (we're really hoping he is). However, there is a bright side: three spinoffs are currently in the works! Dwayne, of course, has teamed up with Jason Statham for Hobbs and Shaw, while Vin recently announced plans for a female-led version. The third has yet to be revealed. Since we're still waiting for Fast 9 to drop, we're taking a walk down memory lane and looking back at the cast's red carpet evolution.

Hobbs and Shaw Trailer #2 Delivers the Biggest, Craziest Fast and Furious Movie Yet

Universal has released a brand new Hobbs & Shaw trailer. There has been talk of the studio possibly doing a Fast & Furious spin-off for some time now, most likely centered on Dwayne Johnson's character Luke Hobbs, who was introduced in Fast Five. That has finally materialized, and he's bringing Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw along for the ride. the end result is probably going to be crazier than any of us possibly imagined. Idris Elba is essentially turned into an actual supervillain and there is more action than we can possibly process, as teased in this latest trailer.

Some of this footage was initially shown to audiences in attendance at CinemaCon and the reaction was quite positive. That said, it's also been made pretty clear that this is very much going to be as over the top and ridiculous as one might expect it to be. So don't go in expecting an Oscar-worthy,

The first cut of Avengers: Endgame was actually shorter than the theatrical version

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors for Avengers: Endgame, reveal that the first cut was actually shorter than the final cut.

We know that the final theatrical cut of Avengers: Endgame is going to be over three hours long – a fact that many might consider a bit lengthy but with the excitement around the upcoming film, most will be willing to forgive.

During the editing process, it is usually the case that the first cut of the film is the longest version, which is then whittled down a little by the time it makes it to cinemas. This wasn’t the case with Endgame, however, as Joe Russo – co-director of the film – explained to Collider:

“We’ve been working on this movie for well over a year in editorial because we finished it in 2018, and it literally hasn’t moved maybe more than two minutes from its original run time on the director’s cut.
