Kristin Davis Cannot Get Enough of This 'Woke Charlotte' Meme from Sex and the City

Kristin Davis Cannot Get Enough of This 'Woke Charlotte' Meme from Sex and the City
Kristin Davis is never too far from the Sex and the City fandom.

The 53-year-old actress shared her love for a meme posted on a fan account called “Every Outfit on SATC” that featured her character, Charlotte York Goldenblatt.

In the show, Charlotte explains to her date that his father had groped her during a dance. Despite trying to give her side of the story, her date doesn’t listen and denies his father would do that. However, the “Woke Charlotte” of the meme does not stand for that.

“My parents have been married for fifty years. My dad would

If Sex and the City 3 Had Been Made, a Very Important Character Would've Been Killed Off
The rumors of a potential third Sex and the City movie have been swirling for years now, with everything culminating in a harsh back and forth in February between star Kim Cattrall and . . . well, everyone else, basically. Although it's been pretty much confirmed that Sex and the City 3 is dead in the water, journalist James Andrew Miller's Origins podcast - which recently did a multipart feature on the iconic HBO series - discovered a key plot detail about the third film's script that's pretty shocking: Mr. Big was going to be killed off.

Miller's podcast includes interviews with Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, Kristin Davis, Willie Garson, and other key players in the show's production, with the notable exception of Cattrall. These chats led to the revelation that Mr. Big would've died "relatively early" in the film, because of a sudden "heart attack in the shower," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sarah Jessica Parker Can't Imagine a Sex and the City Sequel Without Kim Cattrall

Sarah Jessica Parker Can't Imagine a Sex and the City Sequel Without Kim Cattrall
What feud? Sarah Jessica Parker says she can't "imagine" doing another Sex and the City movie without Kim Cattrall. Last year, Cattrall spoke out about not wanting to return for a sequel. Warner Bros. Pictures had planned to make Sex and the City 3 but reportedly canceled it after it emerged that the actress, who played Samantha Jones on the HBO series and in the two movies, would not be participating. Fans, Parker and fellow co-star Kristin Davis all expressed disappointment over the sequel's cancellation, which reignited rumors of bad blood between the former star and Cattrall. On Tuesday, a fan told Parker on Instagram, "You are still my...

Awkward! Kristin Davis Shares 'Sex And The City' Emmys Throwback Without Kim Cattrall

Umm... awkward! Kristin Davis took to Instagram on Monday, Sept. 17, to share a throwback photo of herself with two of her Sex and the City co-stars, Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon. However, their fourth leading lady, Kim Cattrall, was absent from the snap! "Emmy flashback — super happy memories and wishing joy to everyone tonight. We are all so incredibly lucky to get to do what we do!" Charlotte capped the snap of herself, Miranda, and Carrie. Poor Samantha! Fans immediately took to the comments to defend Kristin and to defend Kim. "Maybe there wasn’t a photo taken of all 4 of them from the Emmy’s and that’s why Kim isn’t in it...," one wrote. Another added, "Maybe Kim took the picture? At any rate, Kristin is free to post whatever she wants! This is an iconic Emmy picture to celebrate the Emmy’s, that’s it.

Kristin Davis Snubs Kim Cattrall From Sex and the City Emmys Throwback

Kristin Davis Snubs Kim Cattrall From Sex and the City Emmys Throwback
Do we detect a tinge of shade from one Kristin Davis? The sentiment in the comments section of her latest Instagram post would certainly indicate that, as fans are accusing the Sex and the City actress of taking a dig at former co-star Kim Cattrall. As the 2018 Emmys continued, Kristin took to social media on Monday evening with a throwback photo from the 2004 ceremony where Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon took home two of Satc's 54 Emmy awards.  Noticeably absent from the sentimental snapshot was Cattrall, who has publicly distanced herself from the HBO series that made her a household name years ago.  "Super happy memories and wishing joy to...

Sarah Jessica Parker Accused Of Failing To Return $150K Worth Of Jewelry — But Her Lawyer Denies Claim

Actress and style icon Sarah Jessica Parker found herself in a bit of hot water earlier this week when she was accused of failing to return $150,000 of jewelry. But, thankfully, her lawyer has since denied the claim as "just plain false." On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Page Six reported that court documents allegedly showed the 53-year-old star was "accused of borrowing $149,501.96 worth of accessories from Kat Florence Design in 2016 and failing to return them." The company reportedly claimed that Sjp previously wore the jewelry during a photoshoot and asked if she could "personally borrow several pieces of the jewelry to wear for a few months and then return all the pieces." (Photo Credit: R/R) While the company allegedly agreed to a two-month loan period, the brand also claimed that Sarah Jessica has still not returned the jewels, which included earrings worth $40,706.72 and a ring worth $27,115. According to Page Six, Kat Florence

Doom Asylum – The Blu Review

Review by Roger Carpenter

It was perhaps inevitable that the VHS boom of the 1980’s would eventually lead to full-length features skipping theatrical distribution and being produced directly for video distribution. I can clearly remember 1985’s Blood Cult, the very first film made on video and directly distributed to video. It was a terribly acted, extremely low-budget horror film, released unrated, with over-the-top gore effects. It proved popular enough for the same company to produce The Ripper, starring Tom Savini, both behind and in front of the camera. But even in the 1980’s, most films were actually being made on, well…film, even if the intent was a straight-to-video distribution deal such as Doom Asylum.

But, similar to the indie boom of the 1970’s when practically anyone with a camera, a few dollars, and a bit of ingenuity could create a low-budget film for distribution in big-city grindhouses and small-town drive-ins,

Competition: Win ‘Doom Asylum’ on Arrow Video Blu-ray

To celebrate the release of Doom Asylum – available on Blu-ray 16th July from Arrow Video – we have a copy to giveaway!

Horror-comedies are somewhat ten-a-penny but they so often get the balance completely wrong. They either go too funny and nullify the scares, or too scary so the laughs seem misplaced. Doom Asylum, hailing from 1987, however, gets the balance spot-on with lots of gross-out splatter combined with hilarious wise-cracks from serial killer, the Coroner.

Doom Asylum, as all good 1980s horrors should, also has perfect trash casting! As well as marking Kristin Davis’s movie debut a good 11 years before Sex and the City first premiered. The film also stars Penthouse Pet of the Year 1988, Patty Mullen, and Playboy centrefold, Ruth Collins. Now, just try to imagine Charlotte’s face if she were to hear about this…

For those who’ve only ever seen Doom Asylum on a grainy VHS,

‘Sex and the City’ 20th Anniversary: Creator Darren Star Reflects on Groundbreaking Series, Franchise’s Future

‘Sex and the City’ 20th Anniversary: Creator Darren Star Reflects on Groundbreaking Series, Franchise’s Future
More than 20 years ago, Darren Star was ready to hold auditions for a new show about female friendships and sexual relationships, titled “Sex and the City.”

Star, who had come off creating “Beverly Hills, 90210″ and “Melrose Place,” needed to find his core four — the female actresses who would soon become known to the world as Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha.

Today, those four names — and the actresses who portrayed them, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon — are synonymous with one of the biggest pop culture phenomenons in TV history.

And the show still resonates today. Airing long before the Me Too era and female-forward programming, the comedy was ahead of its time, putting confidentially flawed, unapologetically single career women at the forefront of TV, exuding themes of female friendship, female empowerment and casual sex. “Sex and the City” has held onto its original fanbase and

Kristin Davis Turned Down the Iconic Role of Carrie Bradshaw on 'Sex and the City'

That's right, Kristin Davis, who went on to play the Upper East Side princess Charlotte York, was almost cast as everyone's favorite Manolo Blahnik wearing, cigarette smoking writer. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Satc creator Darren Star revealed what it was like to choose the actresses behind the beloved roles of Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, Samantha Jones, and Charlotte York. Cynthia, Sjp, Kristin, and Kim. (Photo Credit: Getty Images) Darren explained that because Sjp was unsure of joining the cast at first, he asked Kristin to consider reading for the role of Ms.
