Kevin Smith Has Seen Avengers: Infinity War 53 Times

Kevin Smith has a reputation to uphold as the geek’s geek. That seems to be safe, too, as he’s revealed in an interview that he’s now seen Avengers: Infinity War an eye-popping 53 times.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I liked the movie. The Russo Brothers did an excellent job of cramming pretty much every McU hero into the narrative without it seeming over-stuffed, Thanos was an excellent villain and the Snap sequence was one of the more memorable and shocking movie moments of the year. However, having seen it once in the cinema, I didn’t exactly feel in a rush to go back to it.

That doesn’t seem to be the case for Smith though, who explained on Facebook that he’d recently attended a party for the Russo’s new project Deadly Class, where he told the directors how many times he watched their film.

“All These Small Moments” Contains A Big Supporting Turn From Harley Quinn Smith

Independent cinema is at its best when it can launch a new star. Whether in front of or behind the camera, making a discovery is a highlight of the medium. In the case of the indie drama All These Small Moments, it serves to showcase a tremendous supporting turn by young Harley Quinn Smith. There’s a lot to like about this film, as it’s one of the few 2019 releases of really high quality, but Smith stands out. She hinted at this talent in her father Kevin Smith’s underrated Yoga Hosers, but this really hammers it home. She’s someone to watch out for. The movie is an indie drama, centered on a young man’s coming of age. For Howie (Brendan Meyer), his entry into adulthood is taking place as his parents (Brian D’Arcy James and Molly Ringwald) are seeing their marriage crumble. Every single day,

Spider-Man: Far From Home – Who is Mysterio?

Richard Jordan Jan 16, 2019

Jake Gyllenhaal's supervillain (or is he?) is revealed in the new trailer for the Spidey sequel. Here's everything you need to know

This article comes from Den of Geek UK.

So, the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer has arrived, finally giving us our first proper look at Jake Gyllenhall’s Mysterio. And while he seems to be playing a friend to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker (“He’s like Iron Man and Thor rolled into one!” his classmates enthuse), we’re not quite sold – Mysterio’s comic-book background suggests he’ll wind up being much more of a foe.

Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, is one of Spider-Man’s oldest and most iconic arch-enemies. He’s a Hollywood stuntman and FX technician who becomes disillusioned with the industry, and so decides to put his skills to good use as a supervillain instead.

Ahead of the release of

20/20 Hindsight: The Best Movies of 1994

To many moviegoers, and especially to those of my generation, 1994 is a hallmark year in the annals of cinema. It is, after all, the year of Pulp Fiction, of Forrest Gump and of The Shawshank Redemption. It’s the year when the last two entries in the acclaimed Three Colors trilogy came out, or Wong-Kar Wai’s breakout Chungking Express. It’s when the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise got good again, and when Kevin Smith stepped into the limelight. It represents a seminal moment in film of great new talent and polish studio products, of elevated genre fare and of all-time

Mallrats 2 Was Turned Down by Netflix, Hulu and Showtime

Mallrats 2 Was Turned Down by Netflix, Hulu and Showtime
Kevin Smith recently revealed that he pitched Mallrats 2 to Netflix, Hulu, and Showtime two years ago. However, they all decided to pass on the sequel. It's been 25 years since Mallrats hit theaters, and Smith fans have been asking about a sequel practically ever since then. While the sequel has been passed on, Smith hopes that the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will change their minds and we're all hoping the same thing.

One can imagine that Kevin Smith gets asked about Mallrats 2 quite often. Earlier this week, a fan on social media asked the director about it, and Smith replied by letting everybody know that he had seriously pitched it two years ago and that it was passed on. Smith said that Netflix doesn't "feel the same way you do." The fan suggested that the sequel could even be turned into a Netflix series, which isn't a bad idea at all,

New Report Teases The Incredible Level Of Action In Star Wars: Episode IX

Though Star Wars: Episode IX remains shrouded in mystery, it’s a safe bet that director J.J. Abrams is aiming to go big for the Sequel Trilogy finale, both in terms of emotions and the scale of the spectacle.

Sure enough, an anonymous user on Reddit – who reportedly provided sufficient proof to convince people that they’re involved in the production – offered their assurance that this next film will bring us action on a level that the saga has never seen before. In a now-deleted comment, the user wrote that “the scale of the film is incredibly large, even by Star Wars standards, and fans will be surprised.” The Redditor also mentioned that they’ve spoken to one crew member who liked The Last Jedi and one who didn’t, and that both seemed equally impressed by the production.
