Ann Todd was a beautiful English actress best known as Gregory Peck's wife in Alfred Hitchcock's The Paradine Case (1947). Her third husband was the legendary director David Lean, for whom she appeared in three films, One Woman's Story (1949), Madeleine (1950), and The Sound Barrier (1952).
