Weird First Trailer for Indie Film 'The Cleanse' Starring Johnny Galecki

"We all have our demons." What the heck is this? Vertical Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for a very weird indie film titled The Cleanse, formerly known as The Master Cleanse when it first premiered two years ago at the SXSW Film Festival. Described as a "darkly humorous, weird, and soulful fantasy that examines the inner demons in all of us", the film is about a heartbroken man who attends a spiritual retreat, only to discover that the course releases more than toxins and traumatic experiences. Johnny Galecki (from "The Big Bang Theory") stars, with a cast including Anna Friel, Oliver Platt, Kyle Gallner, and Anjelica Huston. I actually really like the concept of this - I'm curious to see how he deals with his ugly "inner demon" and cleans it up. Might be cool? Or maybe not after waiting two years for a release. We'll see. Here's the

Devil Wears Prada Reunion! Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt Join Stanley Tucci at Film Premiere

Devil Wears Prada Reunion! Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt Join Stanley Tucci at Film Premiere
Gird your loins — because there was an impromptu The Devil Wears Prada reunion at the premiere of Stanley Tucci‘s latest film!

At Thursday’s premiere of Tucci’s new movie Final Portrait, both Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt showed up to lend their support to the 57-year-old actor-director.

Although the trio didn’t pose all together at the event, Tucci was spotted smiling alongside Streep — with whom he also starred in 2009’s Julie & Julia — and cozying up with Blunt.

And there was at least one superfan of the 2006 film who was probably freaking out about the mini-reunion: Blunt’s husband John Krasinski,

‘Sadie’ Review: Megan Griffiths’ Trailer Park Drama Falls Flat, Even With a Breakout Performance From Its Young Star — SXSW

‘Sadie’ Review: Megan Griffiths’ Trailer Park Drama Falls Flat, Even With a Breakout Performance From Its Young Star — SXSW
No one is happy in the hazy, dank world of Megan Griffiths’ trailer-park drama, “Sadie.” But no one is as compelling in their discontent as the eponymous lead, an outcast 13-year-old played by breakout star Sophia Mitri Schloss. Unhappy with her lot in life, she’s ignored at nearly every turn, only finding solace in her doting mother Rae (Melanie Lynskey) and her long-time best pal Francis (Keith L. Williams).

However, Sadie’s fragile existence is made worse by the protracted absence of her father. A daddy’s girl through and through, Sadie is convinced that her soldier dad is the only one who really understands her — not only with their shared interest in gory horror movies, military strategy, and sensible flak jackets, but also in emotions and worldview. That her father has been out of the country and her life, for years (save for his bi-monthly letters) stings Sadie,

‘Flatliners’ Blu-ray Review

Stars: Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, Kiersey Clemons, Kiefer Sutherland | Written by Ben Ripley | Directed by Niels Arden Oplev

Danish director Niels Arden Oplev is still best known for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (what, you mean you don’t remember Dead Man Down?), and he brings the same flat, TV movie aesthetic to this “sequel” to Joel Schumacher’s 1990 sci-horror. The original’s high concept plot is retained and given a 21st century makeover – although it’s still as hokey and dumb as Schumacher’s film, and once again fails to capitalise on its central conceit.

The premise of Flatliners is that a young med student, Courtney (Ellen Page), comes up with the bright idea of having her heart stopped, then started again, under controlled conditions. She employs the help of a group of fellow students, who see the experiment as a shortcut to bountiful medical careers.
