Alicia Silverstone Says Her Son Tried to ‘French Kiss’ Her After Seeing ‘Clueless’ (Video)
Alicia Silverstone initially didn’t want her 7-year-old son to see “Clueless,” but after he did, the actress said that he kept wanting to “French kiss” her.

“I took him to see it because it’s at the La cemetery, where they show it for 4,000 people…on a huge screen,” Silverstone said on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on Monday, adding it was “very romantic” because everyone was “laying down with pillows and rosé.”

She feared her son would be too young to see the 1995 cult classic, saying it’s “not appropriate” for someone that age.

“He loved it, but the one thing he took away from it, aside from all the things I was worried about, was he kept trying to French kiss me afterward, which was very sweet,” explained Silverstone.

6 Of The Best ‘Back To School’ Films

Melissa McCarthy is back on our screens in Life of The Party, playing a middle-aged mother returning to college in order to complete her degree after her husband abruptly asks for a divorce. To celebrate, we look back at the best Back to School Films to grace our screens:

The Breakfast Club

The first of many John Hughes’ classics, ‘The Breakfast Club’ focuses on the more disciplinary side of school and throws five teenagers from different cliques together one Saturday for all-day detention.

Not only does it play up the typical high school stereotypes in each of the film’s lead roles, it twists them in a way that blurs the lines between the supposedly disparate personalities.

The film’s cult status is heavily referenced in 2012’s hit-film ‘Pitch Perfect’, where it is the first film the lead character Beca can watch all the way through, and moves her to tears.

People aren’t exactly being supportive of Clueless actress Stacey Dash as she’s decided to withdraw her bid for congress. The fact that it’s been done before by another actor and a reality star doesn’t seem to make it possible for others, but it does tend to help if

Trapped in the Sunken Place: how Get Out’s purgatory engulfed pop culture

A year after Jordan Peele’s horror, its key scene has come to signify a sinister state of being for the likes of Oj Simpson, Stacey Dash as Kim Kardashian denies Kanye West is there

In February 2016, Daniel Kaluuya arrived on set at a large suburban home in Fairhope, Baldwin County, Alabama. In many ways it seemed like any other morning during the three-week, low-budget feature shoot. However, the movie’s director, Jordan Peele, seemed to believe the footage they would shoot that day might take on a greater resonance.

“Yo, this is iconic,” the actor remembers Peele saying to him. Kaluuya wasn’t sure if his director was simply trying to amp him up; nevertheless, he took his place opposite the Oscar-nominated actor Catherine Keener and focused. “It felt intense,” he later recalled to Variety. “It was just that five-page scene that day.”
