Frank Castle and Jigsaw exchange gunfire in The Punisher season 2 set video and photos

Last week a video from the set of The Punisher season two arrived online offering a glimpse of the returning Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, who – after his climactic encounter with Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle – has now transitioned into the classic Punisher baddie Jigsaw.

Well, we now have some more set photos and video, this time offering a much better look at Jigsaw and it has to be said that the villain isn’t looking too worse for wear considering the damage his face took in the season one finale. It’s certainly a far cry from Jigsaw’s hideous comic book appearance (and that of Dominic West in 2008’s Punisher: War Zone). Take a look for yourself here…

Intense Video From The Set of The Punisher Season 2 Shows The Villain Jigsaw in Action

A video from the set of Marvel's The Punisher Season 2 has surfaced and it's actually pretty intense. It features our first look yet at actor Ben Barnes in the role of the villain Billy Russo a.k.a. Jigsaw. As you will see, he goes a little ballistic and starts shooting at Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle and there's also footage of Castle shooting back at him.

In case you don't remember, Castle brutally cut up Russo's face up in the final episode of the first season. He obviously went through some reconstructive surgery, but it's more of a real-world outcome than the look of the over-the-top version of the character from the comic book. Watch the video below and if you have any thoughts on the footage, you know where to talk about it!
