Diane Keaton movies: 15 greatest films, ranked worst to best, include ‘Annie Hall,’ ‘The Godfather,’ ‘Reds’
Diane Keaton is one of those special actors who can shift from comedy to drama without missing a beat. She has been nominated for two Oscars in comedy (“Something’s Gotta Give” and winning for “Annie Hall”) and two in drama (“Reds” and “Marvin’s Room”). Keaton is now back in theaters joining Oscar winners Jane Fonda and Mary Steenburgen, as well as five-time Emmy Award winner Candice Bergen in Bill Holderman‘s comedy “Book Club.”

'Filmworker': How Leon Vitali Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Kubrick's Dark Moods
"There's a saying: When the shit hits the fan, it's never evenly distributed."

Leon Vitali is describing what a bad day on a Stanley Kubrick set was like. And he knows better than any man alive. Not long after he was cast as Lord Bullingdon in the 1975 period piece Barry Lyndon, the then-25-year-old actor was seriously worried he wouldn't survive the shoot. He had been a devotee of the director since seeing 2001: A Space Odyssey during its theatrical release and had watched other actors come and go on

Strangers Things Casts Cary Elwes And Jake Busey For Season 3

Stranger Things season 3 is set to begin filming later this month and, ahead of the Netflix phenomenon once again going in front of the cameras, two exciting new casting additions have been revealed to be moving to the weird and frightening town of Hawkins.

Cary Elwes – familiar to modern horror fans as Dr. Lawrence Gordon in the Saw films – is joining the ensemble cast as Mayor Kline, suggesting that season 3 will finally introduce us to the mayor of Hawkins. With all the odd shenanigans going on in the town, we expect him to be a very shady individual indeed. Meanwhile, Jake Busey – set to star in the upcoming Predator – is set to play a man named Bruce. That’s all we know about his role for now, though.

Elwes should definitely be right at home on Stranger Things, as he’s yet another cast member who’s previously appeared in a fondly-remembered classic 1980s movie.

Cary Elwes and Jake Busey join Stranger Things Season 3

Hawkins just got a little bigger as Netflix has announced more casting for the third season of the sci-fi supernatural hit Stranger Things. Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) and Jake Busey (The Predator) join the series for the upcoming season.

Cary Elwes will play Mayor Klinem, a character described as handsome, slick and sleazy. Mayor Kline is your classic ’80s politician – more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs.

Jake Busey will portray Bruce, a journalist for the The Hawkins Post with questionable morals and a sick sense of humor.

The Duffer Brothers and Netflix are staying tight-lipped about what the third season will be about and what fans can expect. PRoducer Shawn Levy said at the end of March that it will be “big and spooky” while still retaining a lot of the character-driven heart the show has become known for

R. Lee Ermey Will Be Remembered for One Role. And That Was Enough

R. Lee Ermey Will Be Remembered for One Role. And That Was Enough
It’s hard to think of many actors who became as legendary as R. Lee Ermey did for just 40 minutes of screen time. From the moment he first strolled through the milky gray barracks of “Full Metal Jacket” as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman, screaming into the faces of his recruits, popping off taunts like firecrackers, you knew in your bones — you just knew — that you could forget every movie drill sergeant you’d ever seen. This is what those guys were really like. Everything about Ermey seemed to be made of leather: his face, his neck, his vocal cords, his soul. He wasn’t a Southerner (Ermey was born and raised in Kansas), but his voice had the sinewy contours of a mean drawl, and he turned the act of raising it into a thrilling feat of domination. Every word he spoke would be more than just heard. It would be

However, talking to EW at the red carpet at PaleyFest, Levy also shared some details on the tone Season 3 will take:

“It’s very much the Stranger Things I think people know and love. It’s big and spooky. Season 3 has legitimately creepy moments and events, but it’s incredibly warm and character-based because at the end of the day, I think that’s what people love most about Stranger Things.”

Well that’s exciting! There are so many things ‘big and spooky’ could mean in the world of Stranger Things. For one, we know that the Mind Flayer is still floating around somewhere out there (and
