Venom’s Extended Post-Credits Scene Has Been Revealed

Despite some bad buzz and lousy reviews, Ruben Fleischer’s Venom exceeded all expectations at the box office, and now that the movie is out on home release, we can get an even better idea of what to expect from the film’s recently confirmed sequel.

Of course, for anyone who’s seen the post-credits of Eddie Brock’s standalone debut, Cletus Kasady has already spelled out the content of Venom 2 quite clearly: “There’s gonna be Carnage.” But if you want to know a little more about the man who’ll be bringing this carnage, the extended post-credits sequence, found as a special feature on digital services, lets Woody Harrelson show us more of his psychotic side.

The scene begins in much the way that people saw in cinemas, with Eddie paying Cletus a visit in prison, and Harrelson’s character insisting that he can turn on “the whole

First Look at Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson in Netflix's The Highwaymen

Netflix has a new Bonnie & Clyde-adjacent movie dropping on March 29, 2012, and they’ve just released a first look. Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner star in The Highwaymen as two detectives who come out of retirement to catch the infamous outlaws. John Lee Hancock is directing.

The still released shows the two actors facing each other, maybe arguing or maybe about to kiss. It’s not clear. The only thing we can actually tell from the image is that they should both button their suit coats so they look less sloppy.

The Highwaymen also stars Kathy Bates, Kim Dickens, W. Earl Brown, John Carroll Lynch, and Thomas Mann. Interestingly, a perusal of the IMDb cast page shows that no one is playing the outlaws themselves, although several actresses are credited as “Bonnie Look Alike.” It’s a different sort of cat and mouse game if the mice never appear on screen.

True Detective Season 3: Mahershala Ali Is on the Case in the Ominous Official Trailer

Yes, True Detective is finally returning for season three, and yes, Mahershala Ali looks damn good in the trailer. The third installment of HBO's gritty detective series, an anthology from Nic Pizzolatto, stars the Moonlight Oscar winner as Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas. He sets out to solve the mystery of two missing children in 1980, eventually crossing paths with Amelia Reardon (Selma's Carmen Ejogo), an Arkansas schoolteacher with a connection to the kids. From the looks of the trailer, things go horribly awry and we can't wait to figure out why!

The new season will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019. After a dry, painfully slow second season, the drama unsurprisingly lost a good number fans who couldn't get enough of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in season one. Fortunately, it seems the twisted new story - which will unfold over the course of three decades -

‘True Detective’ Season 3: New Trailer Digs Into the Romance Driving Mahershala Ali

‘True Detective’ Season 3: New Trailer Digs Into the Romance Driving Mahershala Ali
Women have been a sticking point for “True Detective” in past seasons, with critics accusing the show of casting female characters into one of a few, predictable camps.

But Season 3 is looking to correct a few past mistakes, including elevating the relevance and dynamism of its notable female lead Amelia Reardon, played by the great Carmen Ejogo. As an Arkansas schoolteacher connected to two children who go missing in the 1980, Reardon forms a relationship with Detective Wayne Hays (Mahershala Ali) that gets mixed up with a mystery enveloping them both for decades to come.

Ejogo was last seen in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald,” “Roman J. Israel, Esquire,” and “Alien: Covenant,” but devout TV viewers made sure not to miss her remarkable turn in the second season of Starz’s “The Girlfriend Experience.” A British actress who’s shown quite an exciting range already, it’s hard to imagine

First Venom Deleted Scene Has Eddie Brock Unleashing His Inner Demon

On the eve of Venom‘s digital release (Blu-ray and DVD on December 18th), Sony Pictures has unleashed a never-before-seen deleted scene of Eddie Brock unleashing his inner demon.

Coming to us by way of Twitter (h/t Cbm), this is by no means the full deleted scene, and has instead been edited so that fans are left wanting that little bit more. Nevertheless, it offers a pretty good look at the sinister symbiote being triggered by a car alarm – much to the amazement of a young kid, who can do nothing but gawk at Venom as the inky-black monster makes short work of the doomed automobile.

Feast thy eyes:

This particular snippet is one of three deleted/extended scenes set to be included on the Venom Blu-ray – the other two concern Eddie and Venom’s ride to the hospital, while the third is said to offer up an extended

‘The Highwaymen’ Image: Woody Harrelson and Kevin Costner Are the Feds Who Stopped Bonnie & Clyde

Netflix has released the first image from The Highwaymen. The film is based on the true story of the former Texas Rangers (played by Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) who used their old school skills to track down and kill Bonnie & Clyde. I’ve never really wondered about the detectives on the other end of the hail of bullets that killed Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. I never get to the end of Bonnie and Clyde and think, “But what about the detectives?” The synopsis may uphold these two detectives as the story worth telling, but that’s a …

Watch The Symbiote Come Alive In This Exclusive Venom Blu-Ray Clip

Though Venom was generally slated by critics for its dated visuals and lackluster story, you can’t fault Tom Hardy’s performance as Eddie Brock.

Going into the release of Sony’s budding franchise-starter, it was nigh on certain that Hardy, famous for his portrayal of brooding baddies thanks to Mad Max, Bronson and The Dark Knight Rises, would deliver a tour-de-force performance as Brock’s snarling alter-ego. And sure enough, the British thesp was arguably Venom‘s saving grace, and part of the reason why it’s managed to defy the critics on its journey to $845 million worldwide.

That’s an incredible tally by anyone’s standard, and further proof that a Venom sequel is nigh on certain. But before we get too carried away about what the future holds, the good folks at Collider have premiered an exclusive Blu-ray clip from Sony’s superhero romp (see above) which takes us behind the scenes,
